‘As grand and mysterious as the Big Bang itself’ concluded Pitchfork when Florence Welch – aka Florence + The Machine – released her debut album 15 years ago, a year after attracting the attention of BBC Music Introducing. The BRIT Award-winning Lungs immediately announced Florence as an artist of huge courage, theatricality and vocal abilities – earning her a place on BBC Radio 1’s prestigious ‘Sound of …’ list.

The Baker Gurvitz Army was a British rock group formed in late 1974 by drummer Ginger Baker, formerly of Cream, and brothers Adrian (guitar) and Paul Gurvitz (bass), formerly of Gun. The band was filled out by vocalist Snips and keyboard player Peter Lemer. They released three albums between 1974 and 1976, the most successful of which was their self-titled debut, which charted in the U.K. and the U.S.

Queen’s self-titled 1973 debut album is being reissued across a number of formats next month.

Leopold Stokowski’s eminence as one of the truly great conductors of the 20th century over a career spanning more than six decades is exemplified in this set, which features live performances in stereo of symphonies and other works he conducted in concert during his final years and which, in many cases, he had premiered on record as well. In one of the many outstanding reviews of these live concerts, the distinguished Times critic William Mann wrote of the 1963 ‘Proms’ premiere of Mahler’s Symphony No.2: “A performance which was superb by any standards, meticulously loyal, noble and deeply felt out of long and thoughtful experience”. The set has been newly remastered to reflect Stokowski’s instructions on how he wanted his recordings to sound.

The BBC material includes two legendary In Concert recordings. 'Smiles & Grins' is the most comprehensive collection of Jack's broadcast sessions ever released and it includes an illustrated booklet and essay - a fitting celebration of the musical legacy of Jack Bruce, a much-missed master of his craft.

Neighborhood Records was a record label founded in 1971 by Melanie and her husband Peter Schekeryk. The label's biggest hit was their number 1 single "Brand New Key". A limited edition six-CD box set in an A5 book format with over 100 tracks, most of which are unreleased versions. For several months in 2023, Melanie herself oversaw this exciting project, contributing photos and information.

1976 is a new compilation boxset containing the two versions of both albums: the original form and a new stereo mix by Richard Whittaker, as overseen by guitarist Scott Gorham and mastered by Andy Pearce. Other discs contain unreleased mixes from the band's vault, radio sessions and an unreleased show from Cleveland. Also included is a Blu-ray Audio disc containing an Atmos mix of both albums. The 5 CD/Blu-ray Audio set is housed in a 10x10 box with sleeve notes by Mojo's Mark Blade and has a hard-backed booklet packed with rare photos and memorabilia, with contributions from long-time contributor Jim Fitzpatrick.
