Biosphere

Patashnik is the 1994 album by Geir Jenssen, who is commonly known as Biosphere. This was released by Origo Sound.

This book presents a collection of articles resulting from the work of individuals and teams from all geographic regions of the world on several dimensions of understanding of this important idea.

UK experimental institution Touch is readying a split album from Biosphere and Deathprod, titled Stator.

Biosphere is a collection of looped soundscapes that evoke environmental and biological processes, supernatural atmospheres, and living organisms. Synthesising original material from field recordings, Foley performances, and human voices, Biosphere is a creative toolkit for film, game, and multimedia sound design, as well as for producers of ambient music. Each soundscape is over one minute in length, and meticulously edited to loop seamlessly without obviously repeating. The loops are production-ready out of the box, but are also inspirational source material for mangling and resynthesizing.
