Bittersweet Symphony, the fourth installment of the Bittersweet series by JL Beck has not disappointed me at all. Don’t let the book’s description fool you. The story begins and ends with Kennedy’s point of view and I feel like her growth was more interesting most of all. Like most of Beck’s creations, she’s one amazing character.

Brunettes Shoot Blondes is a Ukrainian indie rock band, founded in early 2010 and based out of Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. The group gained international recognition in September 2014 for an animated music video to their song "Knock Knock". The video went viral, receiving more than five million YouTube views in the 10 days after its release. In early 2015, the band developed their unique music video style for the song 'Bittersweet', made in partnership with German automobile manufacturer Opel. Brunettes Shoot Blondes currently has no contract with any record labels, instead promoting the band independently.

White Soul & Bittersweet EP unites Chicago's Green White Soul album from 1990 and their Bittersweet EP from 1991. This was released by Megadisc via Widely Distributed.

In the 1990s, a number of young "jam bands" (modeled after the musical and social model of the Grateful Dead) began developing a nationwide following, such as Blues Traveler and the Spin Doctors, but none have achieved greater success than Phish. With little radio play or mainstream media coverage, Phish developed a grassroots following that's grown so large they can sell out multi-night arena stands overnight, and the group has staged several well-attended weekend-long festivals in which they are the only attraction, playing multiple sets over several days.
