Congo: White King, Red Rubber, Black Death (2004)
This true, astonishing story of what King Leopold II did in the Congo was forgotten for over 50 years. "Congo: White King, Red Rubber, Black Death" describes how King Leopold II of Belgium turned the Congo into his private colony between 1885 and 1908. Under his control, Congo became a gulag labour camp of shocking brutality. Leopold posed as the protector of Africans fleeing Arab slave-traders but, in reality, he carved out an empire based on terror to harvest rubber. From the mid-1880s and lasting for nearly 40 years, an estimated 10 million Congolese were killed under Leopold's reign. The madness only came to an end thanks to the efforts of British journalist and humanitarian E.D. Morel, who exposed the human rights abuses in Congo and published photographs of the mutilated Congolese.

Alors que la première épidémie de peste bubonique ravage l’Angleterre, un jeune moine nommé Osmund reçoit la mission d’accompagner un groupe de chevaliers, menés par le rustre Ulric, pour enquêter sur d’étranges phénomènes se produisant dans un petit village reculé. Mais quand Osmund, déchiré entre son amour pour Dieu et celui pour une jeune femme, accepte de passer un pacte avec la nécromancienne, l’horreur de son véritable voyage ne fait que commencer…

The origins of Agalloch date back to 1995 and the disintegration of the band Aeolachrymae. As that group died, three phoenixes emerged from the ashes, Sussurrus Inanis, Nothing, and Agalloch. Mixing black metal with atmospheric textures, gothic doom, and neo-folk and post-rock touches, the Portland, OR-based group quickly developed a rabid cult following.

"Master of Reality" is the 3rd studio album by English rock band Black Sabbath, released on 21 July 1971 by Vertigo Records. It is regarded by some critics as the foundation of doom metal, stoner rock, and sludge metal. It peaked at #5 on the UK Albums Chart and #8 on the US Billboard 200. Negatively received by critics on release, the album is now considered one of the greatest heavy metal albums of all time. It was certified double platinum after having sold over two million copies.
