The Magic School Bus is a series of children's books about science. They feature the antics of Ms. Frizzle, an elementary school teacher, and her class of eight children (in the original books, the class population was at a larger and more standard amount), who board a magical school bus which takes them on field trips into the solar system, under the Bed, into the American Flag, or to other such impossible locations. The books are written in the first person from the point of view of an unnamed student in "the Friz's" class. The class pet, Liz, an anthropomorphic lizard, accompanied the class on their field trips.
Since the Magic School Bus books present scientific facts in the form of stories in which fantastic things happen (for example, a bus turns into a spaceship, or children shrink to the size of blood cells), each book has a page at the end detailing in a humorous manner which parts of the book represented scientific fact and which were fanciful storytelling. In the books' television adaptation, this was replaced by the Producer Says segment at the end of each episode, in which the producer of the show (voiced by Malcolm-Jamal Warner of The Cosby Show fame) receives phone calls from kids complaining about how some things that happened on the show couldn't happen in real life. This allows the show to explain the specific facts in question and why they had to be disregarded to a degree because of the need for dramatic license.

Maynard James Keenan is known as the front man for Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer. This was one of the first Asian horror movies to be widely released on video in the US. Its crazy special effects and wild gore sequences were unique at the time and are still eye-opening today. The story is set in the exotic countryside of far-off Indonesia. A wedding ceremony goes dreadfully wrong and the groom suspects black magic. He seeks out the woman he believes is responsible and she is hurled to her death over a high cliff. She is rescued from the dark jungle by a strange hermit. He tells her that she must seek revenge. They accused her of black magic - now she must learn to use that magic against them and become Queen of Evil.

The final Yojimbo film, 'Incident at Blood Pass' came about as two of Japan's greatest stars collide when Mifune Toshiro (Seven Samurai, Yojimbo) buts heads with Katsu Shintaro (Zatoichi). The film's Japanese title, MACHIBUSE, means ambush, and that is indeed what waits for Mifune's wandering samurai after he is hired for a mysterious mission. In fact, he is not even given any information about the mission, but only told to be at an old tea house at the top of a pass at a certain time. There, he butts heads with Katsu, a gang of bandits, and a convoy of Shogunate gold as two of Japan's finest film actors and a rousing score make this one of the most entertaining samurai films of the 1970s.

Two cops in Los Angeles try to track down the vicious criminal Eric Masters. Then, one of them is killed by Masters and the other one swears revenge no matter what the cost. After that, the hunt becomes an ob- session and the law he once swore to uphold becomes meaningless to him.

Film opens on December 18, 1999, just a few days before the dawn of the new century. A local reporter, Iron Idem, announces that the Martians have landed. Shortly after that his program loses its independence: he is given the script telling the crowds how to welcome the invaders. Then the chaos breaks out: the Martians and police mistreat the populace; things become violent. Idem's own wife is kidnapped and it seems somebody is trying to reduce his effectiveness as a reporter. Idem decides to fight back: he illegally broadcasts a message during the rock concert, but nobody believes him anymore.

Let the Right One In (Swedish: Låt den rätte komma in) is a 2008 Swedish romantic horror film directed by Tomas Alfredson. Based on the novel of the same title by John Ajvide Lindqvist, who also wrote the screenplay, the film tells the story of a bullied 12-year-old boy who develops a friendship with a vampire child in Blackeberg, a suburb of Stockholm, in the early 1980s. The film starring Kåre Hedebrant, Lina Leandersson and Per Ragnar.
