Alex started playing guitar and singing at age 7. Influenced by his brother, who opened him the doors to all kinds of music. After playing with several local outfits in Barcelona, an 18 year old Alex joined harp bluesman Hook Herrera (Gov’t Mule, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Kid Ramos, Denny Freeman). Hook was Alex’s first mentor and also introduced him to the start of a music career by teaching him how to understand the music, specially the blues, and opening the doors into the profesional bussiness. With Hook Alex had the chance to play in the best festivals and clubs all over Europe.

Blues. This band plays the Blues. No doubt. And ithe Blues gets taken for a wild ride on this album. Creative and innovative arrangements give everyone plenty of solo time ….the rhythm section lays down a rock solid foundation for the fantastic keyboard, Harmonica, Saxophones and trumpet soar in section and solo while the guitar alternately coaxes and strongly declares its independent voice, reminiscent of the 3 Kings. The vocalists, two Blues Hall of Famers on guitar and bass are not afraid to give various treatments fitting to the lyrics that are thoughtful, deep, resolute and comical in turn. Beatriz Zaragoza is a singer and composer born in Madrid. She began his musical studies at the Ángel Arias Maceín Professional Music Conservatory in the same city studying the violoncello career. Later she decided to study lyrical and modern singing in different schools in Madrid.

Red Dragon Blues was formed almost accidently, as if a collection of random parts in a laboratory assembled themselves, got up and started walking. And making noise. Having moved from Australia to Japan in search of something else, guitarist/singer Luke Cuerden was inspired to create something out of the clash of neon and old tradition in Tokyo and the other parts of the country his travels took him to. It felt less lame than writing a diary, so instead, he wrote songs. Having written mostly for other people to sing previously, and playing in a multitude of other people’s bands it was Tokyo session drummer Armin Takeshi Linzbechler’s idea that Luke should front his own band. The first manifestation of Red Dragon Blues was born with Armin on drums and a close musical cohort of his and Yokohama local Takeshi …… on bass.

The Bluesanovas – That's the band that proved to provide the new kind of explosive Blues and Boogie music over the past few years! Formed in 2015, they already took part in the Blues Festival Hildesheim in 2016 and the Blue Wave Festival Rügen in 2017, taking a role as the new rising star in the blues scene. Atlanta native Riley Hoskins rose through the indie music scene of the 80’s and 90’s, and always drew upon his southern roots and an intense love of Blues, R&B, Rock and Soul.
