Born with a fascination for video games, Sander van Zanten was compelled to dedicate himself to game music composition by the Warcraft and Fable series. An acclaimed guitarist, pianist and digital composer, Sander draws players in and drives them to the heart of the game's experience by blending intimate instrumentation with lush, swelling orchestral textures and roaring synthesizers. His latest work was written for KeokeN Interactive's sci-fi epic Deliver Us The Moon, which takes players on an atmospheric and isolated voyage to the moon. Inspired by classics such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, Interstellar and Gravity, the soundtrack spans close to 4 hours of original music custom-tailored to the award-winning space adventure game.

Emmy nominated composer David Buckley has just finished scoring Angel Has Fallen starring Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman for Lionsgate, and is currently scoring the upcoming animated feature Arctic Justice. Other recent credits include the remake of Papillon starring Charlie Hunnam & Rami Malek, Jason Bourne directed by Paul Greengrass and The Nice Guys for Shane Black and Joel Silver. Previous film scores include the Joel Schumacher-directed thrillers Trespass and Blood Creek, Ben Affleck’s crime drama The Town, Taylor Hackford’s action feature Parker and Rob Minkoff’s fantasy adventure The Forbidden Kingdom.

Jeff Russo began his career with Los Angeles-based adult alternative rockers Tonic. Russo moved to L.A. in 1990 and formed Tonic with his friend Emerson Hart. They had a hit right out of the box with 1996's Lemon Parade, which spawned the irrepressible singles "If You Could Only See" and "Open Up Your Eyes." Parade went platinum and set up the release of 1999's Sugar. Tonic's third album, 2002's Head on Straight, received two Grammy nominations. The band was a great showcase for Russo's guitar work and songwriting, but by 2004 he was branching out. With work continuing on his solo album – which he was writing and playing in its entirety – the multifaceted Russo wrote a ballet, wrote music for commercials, and got involved in producing. ~ Johnny Loftus

The original motion picture soundtrack of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus was composed by Mychael Danna and Jeff Danna who had previously worked on Gilliam's Tideland (2005). Gilliam wrote lyrics for the two songs "We Love Violence" and "We Are The Children of the World", the latter of which spoofed Michael Jackson's famous "We Are the World" and was nominated for a 2009 Satellite Award in the category "Best Original Song".

Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the action thriller Angel Has Fallen. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Buckley (The Good Wife, Jason Bourne, The Forbidden Kingdom, Papillon, The Nice Guys). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 23 and will be available to download and stream here. Angel Has Fallen is directed by Ric Roman Waugh and stars Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lance Reddick, Tim Blake Nelson, Piper Perabo, Nick Nolte and Danny Huston. The movie is the follow-up to 2013’s Olympus Has Fallen & 2016’s London Has Fallen and follows Mike Banning as he becomes the target of a terrorist attack, this time while mid-flight on Air Force One. The thriller is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Lionsgate.
