Longtime members of Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie have joined together to record their first-ever album as a duo. The collaboration began three years ago, when McVie rejoined Fleetwood Mac for the group’s “On With The Show” tour. The pair went in to record new material prior to rehearsals for the tour and their natural creative chemistry was reignited. Simply titled LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM/CHRISTINE McVIE, the 10-song album has been released this June, followed by a run of special U.S. concerts.

It is positively spooky how consistently interesting Lindsey Buckingham's 30-year solo career has been. For a musician whose core creative philosophy seems rooted in the way art emerges from dramatic chaos, his own output—both within and without Fleetwood Mac—always manages to be immediately familiar and completely surprising.

With the pop sense of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks now leading the band, Fleetwood Mac moved completely away from blues and created this homage to love, Southern California-style. Each songwriter makes his or her presence known: Nicks for her dreamy, mystical reveries ("Dreams", "Gold Dust Woman"); Christine McVie for her ultra-catchy slogans ("Don't Stop"); and Buckingham for his deceptively simple pop songs ("Second Hand News", "Go Your Own Way"). "The Chain", written collectively, is the Mac at their most dramatic. But it's the ensemble playing, the elastic rhythms, and lush harmonies that transform the material into classic FM fare.

"Tango in the Night" is the 14th studio album by British-American band Fleetwood Mac. Released in April 1987, it is the fifth and to date last studio album from the band's most successful line-up of Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood. Produced by Buckingham with Richard Dashut, Tango in the Night began as one of Buckingham's solo projects, but by 1985 the production had morphed into Fleetwood Mac's next album. It contains several hit singles, including "Big Love", "Seven Wonders", "Everywhere", and "Little Lies". The album has sold over 15 million copies worldwide. "Tango in the Night" was re-released with remastered version of the album, B-sides, demos, alternate versions and 14 remixes on March 31, 2017.

The last studio recording to feature the group’s classic line-up of Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie and John McVie. Originally, the album begun as a Lindsey Buckingham solo project but would ultimately become the group’s fourteenth studio recording. The multi-platinum album features some of the group’s strongest materials and delivers four top twenty singles: “Seven Wonders”, “Little Lies”, “Everywhere” and “Big Love”. The group’s inventive arrangement, masterful songwriting and melodic harmonies are captured with new clarity on this original hi-res download.

Although "Say You Will" is Fleetwood Mac's first album without longtime singer/songwriter/keyboardist Christine McVie as a full participant (she appears only as a guest musician), the album nevertheless harks back to the frothy sound of 1982's "Mirage", if not the '70s L.A. studio-pop glory of "Rumors". Singer/guitarist Lindsay Buckingham's production still boasts pleasing quirks aplenty ("Red Rover," "Murrow Turning Over in His Grave"), and his trademark acoustic fingerpicking licks underpin many of the tunes in a winning way. Buckingham and Stevie Nicks share the songwriting duties, and their writing and singing styles still mesh as well as they did in their pre-Mac days as Buckingham/Nicks.

This album was the beginning of Fleetwood Mac's rise to 'household-name' status. With a slew of radio-friendly tunes, the group had finally struck gold. This album would set the stage for the next album, "Rumours". Fleetwood Mac was largely ignored in the U.K. at first, but the momentum had already been generated and it would not be long before their presence was known far and wide. In part due to the timeless resonance of classics like "Rhiannon", and "Landslide".

Stevie Nicks had already launched a solo career by the time this album was released, but that didn't mean Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, and Chrissie McVie wouldn't continue to dash off engaging, pop numbers. Mirage possesses a handful of high points that would entice any FM fan. Whether it is Buckingham's "Book of Love", or Nicks's mesmerizing "Gypsy", or McVie's contagious "Love in Store", the enchanting chemistry is ever-present.
