Singer/songwriter and pianist Alicia Keys became an international star in the early 2000s with her sophisticated mix of classic and contemporary R&B. Behind the number one pop hit "Fallin'," her first album, Songs in A Minor (2001), sold more than 50,000 copies during its first day of availability and eventually moved over ten million units worldwide, thus setting the stage for the then-20-year-old's lengthy career.

“We exist for, and because of, you,” Chris Martin tells close to 50,000 people in the Estadio Ciudad de la Plata, Buenos Aires. Ever since they first broke big in 2000 with “Yellow,” a song that dedicates an entire night sky to an object of desire, Coldplay have betrayed a willingness to please. As deep into their career as 2016, Chris Martin was describing playing live as a “service,” viewing Coldplay as mere backing musicians in a communal, singalong experience for their fans. It’s a philosophy that rings through this companion piece to the A Head Full of Dreams documentary, recorded at their November 2017 gig in the Argentine capital.

Drawing from two sides of the musical spectrum–Tango and Baroque–comes Lara St. John's newest recording, featuring the Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela and Eduardo Marturet. The disc features Antonio Vivaldi's seminal work, The Four Seasons, which is the top-selling classical work of all time, paired with The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, Astor Piazzola's tribute to Vivaldi. There is tremendous interest in this orchestra, and this is the first time it has recorded with the Ancalagon label following successful recordings with the Deutsche Grammophon label.

: This is a transfer from analog cassette tape to digital. A very rare opportunity to hear a young Virssaladze. My intention in posting this is to give our Russian friends the opportunity of listening to one of their co-nationals on a South American Tour in Buenos Aires during 1976. The announcer is the official Radio Municipal de Buenos Aires broadcast from the theatre on the day of the concert.

Martín Palmeri's tango mass is inspired by his native Argentina's traditional tango and in particular by Astor Piazzolla's tango nuevo. Piazzolla developed a »new tango« intended no longer as dance music but for the concert stage; by incorporating contemporary forms and musical developments it gave rise to a complex genre of art music. The Misa a Buenos Aires premiered by the Orquesta Sinfónica de Cuba in 1996 demonstrates Palmeri's impressive and equally entertaining talent for integrating stylistic features of the tango into his compositions.
