Pioneering Japanese synth-pop group second only to Kraftwerk in influence. Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO) is a Japanese electronic music band consisting of principal members Haruomi Hosono (bass and keyboards and vocals), Yukihiro Takahashi (drums and lead vocals) and Ryuichi Sakamoto (keyboards and vocals). The band's former "fourth member" was music programmer Hideki Matsutake. Collection includes all studio albums, three live albums and three compilations.

YMO 1979 Record of World Exploration and Live Box Set is finally released. In 1978, YMO debuted in the album "YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA". In July 1979, the same album was released worldwide from A&M label "Horizon" (at the time). In August of the year, Tubes appeared as a special guest in LIVE three days at LA. This is the YMO first overseas performances, and the third day of performance has been recorded as well as video recording. In the fall, he planned the international tour, "TRANS ATLANTIC TOUR." Recordings were performed in London, Paris, and New York, and they were released as a live album "Public Pressure" in 1980. Some of the later release was finally released in the form of showing the full appearance of the performance that this live recording has been taken. Based on the supervision of Haruomi Hosono, the world engineer GOH HOTODA mixes from multi-tape to the latest sound source, reconfirming how YMO is the only one and only one of a kind. In addition, the tour's video works are upconverted with the latest technology. You can watch this historical live even in videos. In addition, the booklet shows unpublished photos and is a permanent storage box set.

Knives Don't Have Your Back is the first album to be officially released by Canadian singer/songwriter Emily Haines (and the Soft Skeleton). The album was released in September 2006 on Last Gang Records. It debuted at 28 in Canada and has sold 20,000 copies there. She has stated that Metric is still her first priority. The album is a collection of piano-driven songs backed with soft strings and horns and is said to feature guest spots by Sparklehorse's Scott Minor, members of Stars, Broken Social Scene and Metric.

Thousand Knives (also known as Thousand Knives of Ryuichi Sakamoto) is Ryuichi Sakamoto's first solo album. The album is named after Henri Michaux's description of the feel of using mescaline in Misérable Miracle. It was recorded in about 500 hours, and Sakamoto would spend whole days without sleeping working on it. The album's title track is one of Sakamoto's most famous compositions.

On the first of March, 2020, John Darnielle, Peter Hughes, Matt Douglas, and Jon Wurster, aka the Mountain Goats band, visited legendary studio Sam Phillips Recording in Memphis, TN. Darnielle armed his band with new songs and reunited with producer Matt Ross-Spang who engineered last year’s In League with Dragons. In the same room where the Cramps tracked their 1980 debut album, the Mountain Goats spent a week capturing the magic of a band at the top of its game. The result is Getting Into Knives, the perfect album for the millions of us who have spent many idle hours contemplating whether we ought to be honest with ourselves and just get massively into knives. Getting Into Knives includes guest performance on Hammond B-3 organ by Charles Hodges (of numerous Al Green records) and guest performance on guitar by Chris Boerner (of the Hiss Golden Messenger band).
