Psychotic Waltz were one of the most underrated progressive metal bands of their era. While most of the group's early-'90s peers (primarily Queensrÿche, Fates Warning, and Dream Theater) were still performing traditional heavy metal with more cerebral lyrics, technical expertise, and a '70s prog rock aesthetic, Psychotic Waltz and a few other, mostly lesser-known outfits were actually, truly engaged in "progressing" the state of heavy metal into altogether novel stylistic combinations. Alas, as is often the case with such groundbreaking pioneers, the band proved a little too intractable for the mainstream music marketplace and met with a premature demise after years of meager financial and critical reward.

Follow-up volumes appeared in 1993 and 1996, extending the time period to 1979 and with additional songs from the 1972-76 period, available on cassette or CD (ALL 25 volumes were issued in both formats). Each volume has twelve songs. Despite the greater capacity of compact discs, the running time of each of the volumes is no longer than the limit of vinyl records in the 1970s, from 38 to 45 minutes long.

Kommissar Rex (English title: Inspector Rex; Italian title: Il commissario Rex) is an Austrian police procedural comedy-drama television series created by Peter Hajek and Peter Moser that originally aired from 1994 to 2004 on ORF 1. In 2008, the series was revived under Austro-Italian production on Rai 1, and from the next year, was made fully in Italy, with occasional episodes set in Austria. Rai 1 eventually cancelled the Austro-Italian production in June 2015, after eight Italian seasons.

The show follows the German Shepherd police dog Rex, his partners, and the rest of the team at the Vienna Kriminalpolizei homicide unit, as they work together to solve crimes. Since 2008, the show has been set in Rome….
