A cruel empress, a place where men are subservient to women. The empress' reign is disturbed by a prophecy saying a boy will rise to become king, and restore the male regime. Char, a humble boy, is born to be emperor. He and his adopted brother, Leaf, perform in a traveling show run by their adopted father, Blackwood. Thanks to their friend, Lao, the pair receive a stone with a map engraved on it. They set out on a quest for the treasure that the map is supposed to reveal. Two lovely yet lethal female warriors, Blue and Spring, join the boys on their journey. The youngsters encounter various challenges before they meet General Lone, a master swordsman who seeks to overthrow the empire. To do so he must first duel the Lord Of Armour.

Wong Fei-Hung and sidekick Chung arrive in Peking just as the Empress announces a Lion Dance martial arts contest. Also accompanying him is cousin Yee, his young, Westernized aunt-by-adoption, to whom Wong is secretly betrothed. Wong faces a possible romantic rival in a Russian diplomat, Tumanovsky, whom Aunt Yee knew back in school, and a martial arts rival in the brutal Club Foot, who beats up Wong's father. Club Foot works for the slimy Leung Fun, who is determined to win the prestigious Lion Dance contest at any cost. However, by the time the spectacular Lion Dance contest occurs many things will change.

Action/war drama based on the best-selling book detailing a near-disastrous mission in Somalia on October 3, 1993. On this date nearly 100 U.S. Army Rangers, commanded by Capt. Mike Steele, were dropped by helicopter deep into the capital city of Mogadishu to capture two top lieutenants of a Somali warlord. This lead to a large and drawn-out firefight between the Rangers and hundreds of Somali gunmen, leading to the destruction of two U.S. Black Hawk helicopters. This film focuses on the heroic efforts of various Rangers to get to the downed black hawks, centering on Sgt. Eversmann, leading the Ranger unit Chalk Four to the first black hawk crash site, Warrant Officer Durant who was captured after being the only survivor of the second black hawk crash, as well as many others who were involved.

Sing runs into Icy when they are working for a concert. It's not until Sing finds Icy in a phonograph record shop that they know each other's name. Icy, along with Bowie and three other friends formed a band Voices. Sing, being a bystander at the beginning, gradually puts into it. When Sing and Icy talk about their own ideals, they find their ideals happen to coincide. Both of them desire to break a path in USA. At that time, Bowie tells Icy the truth that he's been in love with her. Icy is appreciated by the producer of the record company when she attends the entrance examination, whereas Sing does not have much progress in the advertising agency. Icy seems to have a more favorable turn than Sing. Encouraged by Icy, Sing decides to prepare himself for an international song and dance film casting. He's finally chosen to be a talent of new Hollywood film in USA. The night when Sing tells Icy the good news, Icy realizes she isn't able to fulfill their long-cherished dream of going to USA, since she has signed an eight-year contract with the record company. Although they have many achievements, both of them feel depressed.

The story of the rise to prominence of Luk, a Shanghai fruit seller who became one of the most powerful men in China in the first half of the 20th Century. Gaining favor with the local Shanghai Police Chief Wong for his courage and know-how, Luk takes a job under Wong. When Wong sends Luk to foil the theft of an opium shipment by General Yuan, Luk, ever the opportunist, mediates an agreement between Wong and Yuan and soon, the French Consulate is "persuaded" to give the opium rights to the now rich threesome. After various conflicts and adventures, his fortunes then pit him on the side of the Kuomintang, who is poised to attack local laborers and student leaders. Realizing he has been used by the Kuomintang Army, Luk inventively creates an economic empire in order to destroy them.

The continuing saga of the life of one of the most powerful men in China in the first half of the 20th Century. By the late 1920's, Luk has established himself as the overlord of Shanghai; a player in politics, business, and the huge underworld. But his generosity begins to strain his finances. Pondering his future, he decides to make a strong commitment to the country, opting for high society over getting high. But the 1937 attack by the Japanese on Shanghai throws both Luk and his country into turmoil. Luk is forced to flee to Hong Kong. He returns after the war, but finds the new Nationalist government isn't very accommodating. As China begins its transition to Communist rule, Luk sadly realizes he is heading towards oblivion.

Wai is hired by a financial company to tow away repossessed cars. He does not like the loan sharking job and tells the boss Satyr the truth. Satyr now goes after Mena, the girlfriend of Wai's supervisor, while his supervisor falls for Jacqueline. Time goes by, Wai and Mena become lovers. Satyr gets the underworld's member to help killing Wai with a chain saw. The attempt fails, Satyr and Wai decide to have a car race to the death. Wai wins. He also returns the financial company to proper business.

Lord Conquer is a great and mighty warlord who wants to take over the world. To do so, he must defeat another warrior named Sword Saint; but the battle is prophesized to take place in ten years. Lord Conquer's servant, Mud Buddah, says that he can make himself invincible by then if he can make two certain children into his disciples. Those children are Whispering Wind and Striding Cloud. But Lord Conquer discovers that if Wind and Cloud were to unite against him, they could overthrow him. He tries to avoid this by marrying his daughter Charity to Wind. Cloud intervines and Lord Conquer accidentally kills Charity. Meanwhile, the time has come for Lord Conquer's duel with Sword Saint. He shows his true intentions by turning against Cloud and Wind. Now it's a free-for-all battle between Lord Conquer, Sword Saint, Cloud, and Wind. And only one will emerge the victor!

Knowing that he's dying from cancer, Lam feels a responsibility to come up with sufficient funds quickly so that his younger brother Wai-leong (played by Max Mok) can complete medical school. So he joins with a gang to steal some diamonds. Lam and the gangsters, led by Chiu, have a dispute; Lam manages to hide the authentic jewels before he is killed by the gang. Wai-leong is on the scene when his brother is murdered; the gang kills the actual murderer and makes it look like Wai-leong did it, and he is forced on the run. Too late, Chiu realizes he has been left holding the fake diamonds. He sends one of his people after Wai-leong, who has teamed up with his police detective friend (played by Aaron Kwok) to search for the diamonds and clear his name. Soon enough, Wai-leong encounters a beautiful Japanese reporter (played by Yukari Oshima), briefly holding her hostage, before a tentative romance develops.

Lung (as in Dragon), played by Max Mok, has just gotten out of jail and is on the straight, working at the Lung Fung Restaurant. Pool (as in swimming pool) is an old acquaintance. Together they have a hard time staying out of trouble. Lung meets a hostess bar girl, played by Ellen Chan. Her best friend June (played by Charine Chan) is a meddlesome but good friend.
