El-P, aka El Producto, is one of hip-hop's most obstinate and adventurous pioneers, combining a lo-fi old-school aesthetic with a progressive rock musician's inclination to push boundaries. He has never succumbed to the demands of corporate rap, instead choosing to pursue his own decidedly non-commercial direction. In the mid-'90s, he developed a strong reputation with the groundbreaking trio Company Flow, a band whose achievements include El-P-produced LP Funcrusher Plus on Rawkus Records, a label considered by many one of the best for intelligent hip-hop. Over the group's auspicious stint together, he proved he was himself capable of intense lyricism as well as sonic production so powerful it could stand on its own.
The Russian band Polska Radio One was formed in 2012 and consists of four young musicians, ones that appear to be enthusiastic about their music. Less than three years into their career they have already released two full-length albums as well as a number of singles and EPs. "Cosmos Inside" is an extended version of their debut album "Polska Radio One" from 2013, and was released through the US label Trail Records at the start of 2014. These guys are young but they play well beyond their years. "Cosmos Inside" is a great name for the album because the music contained within is pure retro psychedelic rock, in the vein of early Pink Floyd, laced with spaced out moments that will have fans of the genre hitting the repeat button. Psychedelic/Space rock at its finest.

' Once Bill Laswell's Axiom was a subdivision of Island Records. After Island was sold by Chris Blackwell - the bright teeth guy who went around earth in a balloon and nowadays sells space hops - to Polygram in 1989, AXIOM had to close down (it was not enough commercially interesting and too much "experimental" for Universal), even if more than 20 records had been released and that some of them sold well (Praxis) or had been highly awarded (Sonny Sharrock, Henry Threadgill) by jazz magazines. With Blackwell's desire to move away from music and more into the motion picture realm, Axiom has effectively shuttered operations. Attempts to buy the back catalog from Island/Universal have so far yielded no results.' editorial.review@discogs.com
It is believed that the rush hour lounge music falls on the 50-60s. Then it executes unknown bands, but the rooms were great friends. While implementing lounge music could be called any musician who played in a cafe or restaurant to the public. In the 60s there were ensembles, records which are related to Lounge. Among them - the bands of James Last, Bert Kempferta, Paul Mauriat, Herb Alpert. Distinguished as a lounge music and musical design films, because this style of music can rightly be called the background.
