Baptiste Trotignon will make his return in 2019 with a new album and probably his more intimate "You’ve changed" (to be released in November 19). This project leaves a large place to piano solo but also to an incredible series of duets with guests such as Joe Lovano, Avishai Cohen, Ibrahim Maalouf, Thomas de Pourquery, Vincent Segal and Camélia Jordana.
2008 studio album from Swedish trio with influences like Toto, Journey, and Giant. An outstanding debut by any definition. The fact that it delivers some outstanding songs and soaring melodies in a style that has been short on classic releases of late is even better. Yes, once again it has that very familiar feel as the album follows an already well trodden path, but it is done so well. This is one for AOR fans, Westcoast fans, 80s fans and of course - Toto fans! Well done boys.
This is a welcome re-release for Grappelli fans, featuring the violinist in top form with a European rhythm section playing a mixture of standards, lesser known tunes and originals. The session took place in 1969 whilst Grappelli was semi - resident at The Paris Hilton ( from 1967 - 1972 ). At that time he was employed to play in the restaurant for the benefit of the diners.
