Projetez le cinéma par la porte, il revient par la fenêtre : après avoir composé les partitions des Bien-aimés, toujours pour le compte de Christophe Honoré, Alex Beaupain décide de s’émanciper du 7ème art au bénéfice de son troisième album…mais revisite un « Avant la haine » qui fit les beaux jours de Dans Paris (2006) sous mise en scène du même réalisateur, alors duettisé par Joana Preiss et Romain Duris : ici, en subtile inversion des rôles, le mâle a mal, et la fille n’est autre que la cinglante et déterminée Camélia Jordana.

This is a welcome re-release for Grappelli fans, featuring the violinist in top form with a European rhythm section playing a mixture of standards,lesser known tunes and originals. The session took place in 1969 whilst Grappelli was semi - resident at The Paris Hilton ( from 1967 - 1972 ). At that time he was employed to play in the restaurant for the benefit of the diners.

Baptiste Trotignon will make his return in 2019 with a new album and probably his more intimate "You’ve changed" (to be released in November 19). This project leaves a large place to piano solo but also to an incredible series of duets with guests such as Joe Lovano, Avishai Cohen, Ibrahim Maalouf, Thomas de Pourquery, Vincent Segal and Camélia Jordana.

LIKE an early taste of summer, the new double CD compilation of ‘So Frenchy So Chic’ is here, with yet another great line up. Now is the chance to hear some of the musical acts who will appear at the January picnic parties in Melbourne and Sydney, such as Lou Doillon, who will be playing songs from her highly acclaimed folk rock record ‘Lay Low’. There is also the wonderful voice of the Franco-Moroccan singer Hindi Zahra, whose music is drenched in a hypnotic world blues universe.
