Celebrating the 50th anniversary of their first concert in Japan in 1971, Chicago, a brass rock band formed in 1967, release this set featuring hit singles and music videos released in Japan. The DVD includes 13 music videos such as quot;I can't be honestquot; and quot;Stay the Nightquot;, as well as 4 live songs from 2019, which will be the world's first DVD, as bonus footage. The number of minutes recorded on the CD exceeds 79 minutes for both DISC1 and DISC2, and a total of 41 songs are recorded.

At this stage of his career (1961) Oscar Peterson was at effortless peak that he maintained for an incredibly longtime (basically the 1950's to the mid 1980's. This is best represented by "Chicago". Starting with an inspired introduction which keeps you guessing what the tune will be, followed by a gradual change up through the gears until at 7:13 top gear is reached and the band are absolutely swinging. Now Oscar is really flying, bits of stride Piano, double handed parts that require virtuoso technique… This is an astounding performance that everybody should have in their Jazz Piano collection.

Love Songs: Gold Review by Andy Kellman
A two-disc grab-bag compilation spanning several decades and genres, Hip-O's Love Songs: Gold fares well for a release that's so broad and seemingly random. It's certain that no one could possibly have a strong stomach for all 40 of the selections (let alone any given 30), and there are some very polarizing hits here, where fans and haters feel equally passionate (Peaches & Herb's "Reunited," Olivia Newton-John's "I Honestly Love You," Vanessa Williams' "Save the Best for Last," Extreme's "More Than Words," Lisa Loeb & Nine Stories' "Stay"). There are just as many long-established classics that are almost universally adored, including a crop of Motown hits (the Temptations' "My Girl," Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell's "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing," Gaye's "Let's Get It On"), Al Green's "Let's Stay Together," and Barry White's "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe." There's also a healthy supply of '90s hits, which shouldn't be problematic for those who don't get hung up on whether or not Sisqó and Chicago deserve to share space with Etta James and Smokey Robinson.
