Dead & Company is an American rock band consisting of former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir (guitar and vocals), Mickey Hart (drums), and Bill Kreutzmann (drums), along with John Mayer (guitar and vocals), Oteil Burbridge (bass, percussion, and vocals),and Jeff Chimenti (keyboards).

City of the Century tells how in just 60 years Chicago grew from a remote, swampy frontier town into one of the most explosively alive cities in the world. It's the story of the wealthy and the indigent, the heralded and the forgotten, the shop assistants and the millionaire retail barons who together created Chicago. It describes how through innovation, ingenuity, determination and sheer ruthlessness, the captains of industry created empires in a marshy wasteland.

An Influential Blues Masterpiece: Chicago/The Blues/Today! is a series of three blues albums by various artists. It was recorded in late 1965 and released in 1966. It was remastered and released as a three-album in 1999.

The Chicago Blues All Stars is a re-united group of musicians who nearly forty years ago played in the touring band of Willie Dixon. In 2016 Drummer Jimmy Tillman, bassist Freddie Dixon Willie s oldest son, and guitarist John Watkins got back together, based on a shared vision of mentoring young musicians in the history, playing styles, high level of musicianship and professionalism of their own mentors. Individually, Jimmy, Freddie and John had played with Otis Rush, Jimmy Reed, KoKo Taylor, Bobby King and numerous other musicians during the 1960s and early 1970s, before joining Willie Dixon band.

A rapper who went from obscurity to hanging with Yeezy in no time, Chicago emcee Montana of 300 spent 2015 adding his vocals to some bootleg remixes and ended the year working with Kanye West. Montana kicked his career off in 2008 with the group 300, who were named after the gladiator-themed movie. The crew were influenced by the South Chicago style of drill music and added themselves to a remix of Chief Keef's "Don't Like," but by 2014 they were broken up and off to solo careers. Montana's kicked into high gear in 2015 with the track "Air Jordan" and bootleg remixes of tracks like "White Iverson," "Chiraq," and "Trap Queen."

The band was founded in Chicago by Maurice White in 1970, having grown out of a previous band known as the Salty Peppers. Other members have included Philip Bailey, Verdine White, Fred White, Ralph Johnson, Larry Dunn, Al McKay and Andrew Woolfolk. The band has received 20 Grammy nominations; they won six as a group and two of its members, Maurice White and Bailey, won separate individual awards. Earth, Wind & Fire has 12 American Music Awards nominations and four awards. They have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and have sold over 90 million records, making them one of the world's best-selling bands of all time.
