Sucking In Detroit is a 2010 bootleg CD by British pop rock combo The Rolling Stones. Recorded on 6 July, 1978 in support of their Some Girls album, this was recorded at the Mason Hall in Detroit, Michigan. Disc 2 also features some bonus tracks from the same American tour. This was released by Rattle Snake.

The band continues their ride on a buzz-saw wave of feedback-tipped riffs into the middle distance, the smog-choked sunset receding in the rearview, with a thousand-yard dead pan stare surgically pinned to a high octane set of boredom-energized punk pistons. This is an ear-ringing missive from the end of the cul-de-sac, a mirage wavering above a mid-sized American suburb at dusk, with the constellations bleached black by the sprawl. A little Wipers, a little Wire, and a lot of late-capitalist era anxious energy - Flat Worms scratch the itch quite nicely.

The Alto Glockenspiel is a tuned percussion library capturing a compact 25-key alto glockenspiel. This instrument is typically used in student orchestras and has a natural range from A4 - A6, but we’ve extended its playable range to from A-1 to G8 to allow extreme high and low notes. We recorded the alto glockenspiel with 3 different articulations: hard mallet, soft mallet and choked. We've also rolled in our classic little children's toy glockenspiel library as a bonus. Each articulation has several dynamic layers and plenty of round-robin variation to create a very dynamic and naturally playable virtual instrument.

Blues and swing in a fresh new sound within traditional framework, with special guests and an emphasis on blues guitar. More than 40 years ago I was a teenager in Lewiston, Maine, playing my Gibson ES 330T next to the record player and trying to figure out how guitarists such as Robert Jr. Lockwood, Jimmy Rogers and Louis Myers were making the songs of Muddy Waters, Little Walter and Sonny Boy Williamson sound so great. (Those chords, fills and bass runs delight me still today.)
