In 1999, Pompougnac published his first studio mix, "Costes: France et Choiseul" (Vol 1 of the collection) that achieved a huge commercial success. Pompougnac continued to release more volumes and his first three mixes collectively sold nearly half a million copies. The collection includes all the 14 volumes released from 1999-2011 (except 2 best-of compilations). Note that there is no Hotel Costes Vol. 13 compilation as there is no room 13 in Hotel Costes.
