Sixth installment of the hugely popular 'Now That's What I Call Music' series, originally released in 1985.Back by popular demand… this summer NOW 6 is being released for the first time in CD format! Featuring the original track list and cover from 1985. The songs included here are singles from Mai Tai Queen, Kate Bush, Elton John, UB40, Simple Minds and others.

The original 1983 Now That's What I Call Music compilation - forever after referred to as 'NOW 1' - is being reissued on double vinyl and double CD. Issued in November of 1983, the Various Artists set (issued on vinyl and cassette at the time) came about from a partnership between Virgin and EMI and featured an impressive 11 number one singles, amongst it's "30 great tracks". These included singles from Phil Collins, Duran Duran, Bonnie Tyler, Paul Young and Culture Club.

Set sail with NOW That's What I Call Yacht Rock 2! Featuring tons of your favorite summertime yacht rock classics, making it's CD/vinyl debut on the Now Numbered Series! Yacht Rock was a term coined for smooth soft rock usually from the 1970s and early '80s. 'NOW That's What I Call Yacht Rock Volume 2' presents an ideal 18-track lineup of songs to float to this summer, including Kenny Loggins featuring Stevie Nicks, Michael McDonald, Gerry Rafferty, Chicago, REO Speedwagon, Air Supply, Eric Carmen, Paul Davis, Toto, Little River Band, Seals & Crofts, Gordon Lightfoot, Elvin Bishop, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Walter Egan, Exile, Captain & Tennille, Santana, and many more.

1986 ‘various artists’ compilation Now That’s What I Call Music 8 will be issued as a two-CD set for the first time later this month.

In October 2018, Robert Glasper settled into the Blue Note club in NYC for a month-long residency several nights of which featured the new dream team collective R+R=NOW with Glasper on keys, Terrace Martin on synthesizer, vocoder, and alto saxophone, Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah on trumpet, Derrick Hodge on bass, Taylor McFerrin on synthesizer, and Justin Tyson on drums. The band had recently released their debut album Collagically Speaking and the music had already taken on expansive new dimensions in concert as evidenced on R+R=NOW Live, a thrilling live recording with standout tracks including “Respond,” “Change of Tone,” “Resting Warrior,” and a cover of Kendrick Lamar’s “How Much a Dollar Cost.”

The NOW team continue to re-release the original compilations and have announced that Now That’s What I Call Music 10 is to be reissued across two CDs, next month.

The NOW series is back and kicking off the new year with NOW 108. This edition of the legendary compilation includes 46 chart-topping hits! Available from 26th March, NOW 108 is the perfect soundtrack to Spring 2021.
