When Colors Come Together… The Legacy of Harry Belafonte is an essential single-album anthology of Harry Belafonte's biggest hits and timeless classics and includes a new re-recording of one of the great pop standards in the Belafonte catalog, "Island In The Sun" entitled "When Colors Come Together (Our Island In The Sun)," performed by a children's choir.

Primal Scream have announced details of a new album of remixes titled, Come Ahead: The Remixes Vol 1 (Vocals) due for release via BMG on 28 March 2025. The news arrives before The Come Ahead Tour, Primal Scream’s first UK and Ireland headline shows since 2023, beginning 31 March.

The most successful album ever released by Ike & Tina Turner, 1971's "Workin' Together" blends Ike Turner originals with covers of popular songs from the Beatles and of course the couple's signature tune and Grammy winner, "Proud Mary" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. "Workin' Together" remains Ike and Tina's highest-charting album, peaking at number 25 in the US, while their famous cover of "Proud Mary" sold over a million copies, reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2003.

Lisa Gerrard, the renowned Australian vocalist and composer, presents the compilation 'Come Tenderness'. With the inspiration of the healing power of water at its core, the album has been personally curated by Lisa and features ten of her most exceptional works newly mastered alongside a brand-new song "Whispers". The hand-picked playlist forms a cohesive album showcasing each track in a new light alongside striking artwork by Nigel Grierson. In keeping with her collaborative nature, the album includes iconic pieces Lisa has created over the years with Daniel Johns, Astrid Williamson and Patrick Cassidy. At the forefront of every track is Lisa's ethereal and iconic vocals which, combined with her expressive and profound compositions, come together to form a truly emotional listening experience.

Irma Neumuller & Seth Sjostrom are two Swedish jazz musicians and composers based in Berlin. Their collaboration began as early as 2020 at Skurups Folk High School, where they quickly connected through their shared love of jazz and improvisation. In this project, they come together in an intimate duo setting, interpreting jazz standards, original compositions, and selected favourites from the Swedish pop and folk music repertoire. The contrasts between Irma and Seth–both as musicians and as individuals–are explored. The result is a unique and intimate sound that sheds new light on both the compositions and themselves. Over the past few years, Irma and Seth have performed in various ensembles across Sweden and the rest of Northern Europe, and both have made a name for themselves on the Nordic jazz scene.

Saxophone titan Eric Alexander and Hammond maestro Mike LeDonne come together for an incredible duo record on Cellar Music. With the two principals featured in both solo and duo formats, 'Together' is tethered by the supreme musicianship for which LeDonne and Alexander are known, as well as the comfortable tug of trust and bandstand familiarity. Featuring both original compositions and standards, this recording showcases a special musical dialog between these two modern masters who's long standing friendship and talent enables them to communicate with a kind of musical clairvoyance.

Waiting in the darkness of many publishing offices are songwriters wanting their freedom-Songwriters’ Workshop has opened the door. Fourteen such songwriters have come together, not only to play football, but also to create an album which we hope will indicate the importance of the songwriter. Unlike a sampler, it does not represent other albums. It is an entity, presenting new songs, new writers, and giving light to songs that would otherwise be lost.

Two legends come together. Mel Tormé and Buddy Rich had been friends for decades prior to finally getting around to recording together. Although largely a Tormé vocal record, the Buddy Rich Orchestra, with guest altoist Phil Woods, is in top form, and the drummer/leader has several solos. Most memorable is Tormé's tribute to Ella Fitzgerald on "Lady Be Good" and a remarkable tour-de-force on "Blues in the Night." This enjoyable and somewhat historic recording.

A collection of his favourite songs of freedom: Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” sits alongside hits from Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton and the Beatles, whose “Eleanor Rigby” and “Come Together” frame the album. The French-Vietnamese guitarist Nguyên Lê proves, like no other musician, that globalisation doesn’t always have to mean cultural homogenisation but that it can also create something new with its own quality. Since he became the first exclusive ACT artist in 1993, after “Jazzpana”, he has developed, fully in the sense of the equally cosmopolitan thinking label founder Siggi Loch, to become a great ‘music ethnologist’ in jazz.
