Coming Wave

is a 2010 six-issue comic book limited series written by Brian Azzarello drawn by Rags Morales and published by DC Comics. It is also the name of a separate DC Comics fictional universe, crossing pulp fiction characters over with versions of established DC heroes. The First Wave fictional universe is one of the worlds in the DC Multiverse and was introduced in a one-shot, written by Brian Azzarello with art by Phil Noto. As well as the eponymous characters it also introduced others like Black Canary, The Avenger, Rima the Jungle Girl, The Blackhawks, The Spirit, and Doc Savage's The Fabulous Five. This First Wave limited series then followed. The First Wave line now includes two ongoing series: , written by Paul Malmont with art by Howard Porter, and , written by Mark Schultz and drawn by Moritat. Both of these titles also include back-up stories further showcasing the First Wave universe. Justice Inc., starring The Avenger, runs in Doc Savage while The Spirit features short black-and-white tales of the lead character written and drawn by various creators. An Awesome Wave is the debut album by English indie rock band alt-J, released on 25 May 2012 through Infectious. The album includes the singles "Matilda"/"Fitzpleasure", "Breezeblocks" and "Tessellate". It peaked at number thirteen on the UK Albums Chart, and also charted in Belgium, France, Netherlands and Switzerland. An Awesome Wave won the 2012 British Barclaycard Mercury Prize, and in 2013 was named Album of the Year at the Ivor Novello Awards. The title is a reference to a quote from the 2000 American-Canadian film American Psycho.
