Book 1 was Ree’s introduction to this world, and I admit I haven’t yet read book 2 because when I found a new title out in the series, I couldn’t stop myself from picking it up.

I enjoyed the first book and went straight to the second. I look forward to more books which I will certainly buy. The characters are intriguing and the plots well crafted. The world building is extremely complex and subtly presented; you learn about the world during the course of the story rather than through artificial conversations. The only thing letting it down is the proofreading has left some errors, words missing and some words miss-corrected by spell check to leave an incorrect word.
