Thelonious Monk with John Coltrane is a 1961 album by Thelonious Monk issued on Jazzland Records, a subsidiary of Riverside Records. It consists of material recorded four years earlier when Monk worked extensively with John Coltrane, issued after Coltrane had become a leader and jazz star in his own right.

Child Is Father to the Man is the debut album by Blood, Sweat & Tears, released in February 1968. It reached number 47 on Billboard's Pop Albums chart in the United States. The title is a quotation from a similarly titled poem by Gerard Manley Hopkins, slightly misquoting a poem by William Wordsworth called "My Heart Leaps Up". In 2003, the album was ranked number 264 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Ian Shaw records a personal tribute to his personal heroine Joni Mitchell. Drawn To All Things includes three songs which had not previously been recorded by anyone other than Joni; 'Talk to Me', 'Love Or Money' and 'Stay In Touch'. On View at the Five Spot Cafe is a live album by American jazz guitarist Kenny Burrell with drummer Art Blakey. It was recorded live at the Five Spot Cafe in New York City on August 25, 1959, and released on the Blue Note label. English jazz guitarist Andy Summers referred to Burrell's solo on "Lover Man" as "one of the best jazz guitar solos ever recorded".

Consign to Oblivion is the second studio-album by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica. Stylistically, the album is more focused towards orchestration than other Epica releases and features heavy use of a chorus. The album's lyrics are heavily influenced by Mayan Civilization.

The selections on this album span 70 years of popular song, because the more Susannah felt she knows about singers and songs, the more she adores the women who started it all: the great Empress of the Blues, Bessie Smith, and the mother of all modern popular singing, Ethel Waters. She also feels a great affinity for Brazilian songs, the sound of the language and the sadness and seriousness of the lyrics, and they too are included here.

The Swedish Jazz Kings third Opus 3 release is a swinging tribute to Louis Armstrong. Concentrating on a period when Louis was revolutionizing the shape of jazz music, this album contains many tunes from Armstrong's early repertoire. The sound, as captured by the talented Opus 3 engineers, is even more stunning on SACD. Highly Recommended.
