Copper Alloys

After three albums in an acoustic setting, guitarist Romain Pilon makes an electric shift that he calls « Copper », the perfect conductor cables are made of. Leading an high voltage trio, he brings back in his music his early influences: grooves, rock bursting, elegies and sonic alloys. The album features two special guests, New York saxophonist Seamus Blake (Antonio Sanchez, John Scofield…) and French pianist Pierre de Bethmann (from the trio Prysm). « Copper » blows up resistors and tugs at our headstrings.
