Agostino Steffani is one of the most remarkable figures of the European Baroque period. He was not only a composer, but also a priest and diplomat. He directed the Hanover Opera and influenced some of the most important musicians of his time with his work. This recording combines his Psalmodia vespertina (1674) with the posthumously published Stabat Mater. The psalms are notated for double choir and organ, but are presented here in a richer instrumentation with strings and wind instruments as well as alternations between solos and tutti.

Even more than in Beethoven’s case, Mendelssohn’s Lieder were intended for performance in the salons of the prosperous bourgeoisie: a convivial circle of highly qualified connoisseurs who shared the same outlook, and often a similar financial status.

It contains guest appearances from Swae Lee, Lil Wayne, Offset, ASAP Rocky, Roisee, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, JID, James Blake, Nav, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Ei8ht, Don Toliver, Wizkid, Beam, Toian, Coi Leray, 21 Savage, 2 Chainz, and Nas. The deluxe version of the soundtrack was released three days later, on June 5, 2023. It contains additional songs performed by other artists, consisting of Mora, Dominic Fike, Becky G, Ayra Starr, Shenseea, Myke Towers, Big Boss Vette, Omah Lay, and Pop Money. The album was supported by one single, "Mona Lisa", which was performed by Fike and appears on the deluxe edition, but it was released the same day as the standard edition and the movie.

This summer sees the release of The Green Knight, David Lowery’s take on the 14th century poem ‘Sir Gawain and the Green Knight’ on A24. The film sees Lowery once again team up with Daniel Hart, the composer who scored Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, Pete’s Dragon and A Ghost Story, and the resulting soundtrack is every bit as evocative and ambitious as the movie itself. The Green Knight (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is being released via Milan Records on the same day as the theatrical release.

A much welcome recital of well-known and lesser-known Strauss Lieder by Daniel Behle, Opus Klassik prize winner and “Singer of the Year 2020”, accompanied by Oliver Schnyder. The album offers a selection of atmospheric songs such as ”Winterweihe”, “Winterliebe”, “Waldseligkeit”, “Traum durch die Dämmerung” and “Morgenrot” which are all partly nature-related or about interpersonal relationships.

Slow Horses is a spy thriller television series based on the Slough House series of novels by Mick Herron. The series premiered on Apple TV+ on 1 April 2022. Season two premiered on December 2, 2022. In June 2022, the series was renewed for third and fourth seasons. It has received critical acclaim.

Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire, or simply Interview with the Vampire, is an American gothic horror television series created by Rolin Jones for AMC, based on the 1976 novel and elements from The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice.
Rolin Jones asked his former The Exorcist collaborator Daniel Hart to score the series. Hart and Jones focused the style of the score on the period in which the show's protagonists live, discussing early 20th century American classical musicians as influences. Hart composed a theme for each of the main characters based on the tone of their voices, so that the music would be part of their internal monologues.
