David Bowie 6. I Can’t Give Everything Away (2002 - 2016) is the sixth in a series of box sets spanning Bowie’s career from 1969.

The fifth in a series of box sets that break down David Bowie's discography into cohesively thematic eras, Brilliant Adventure (1992-2001) covers the most years of any of the sets to date: nearly a full decade, almost twice as long as the period chronicled on 2018's Loving the Alien (1983-1988).

The box set features all of the material officially released by Bowie during the so-called American phase of his career from 1974 to 1976. The boxed set, which is named after a track recorded in 1974 but not officially released until the 1990s, includes a huge set of studio recordings of some of David Bowie's most memorable tracks.

One of a few big names to come to Santiago for Rock in Chile (Bryan Adams, Eric Clapton, and Mick Taylor being the others), most of David Bowie's setlist from the first evening was broadcast on national television - although with a slightly dodgy mix, and a VHS tape that hadn't been stored in the best conditions for seventeen years after the show. David Live is the first official live album by English musician David Bowie, originally released by RCA Records in 1974. The album was recorded in July of that year, on the initial leg of Bowie's Diamond Dogs Tour, at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia. The second leg, a more soul-oriented affair following recording sessions in Philadelphia for the bulk of Young Americans, would be renamed 'Philly Dogs', as reflected on a different live release, Cracked Actor (2017).

Parlophone has unveiled the most anticipated installment of their definitive David Bowie reissue campaign with the release of "A New Career in a New Town". What makes this particular box set so special is that the collection’s focal point is the late, great Duke’s Berlin period, an era considered by many fans to be his most creative span in a career defined by constant change. Working in tandem with longtime producer Tony Visconti and friend Brian Eno (himself immersed in Germany’s experimental electronic movement of the '70s through his collaborative efforts with Cluster), Bowie ushered himself into the punk and new wave era by going against the grain of the time, looking to the works of such Krautrock heroes as Can, Kraftwerk and Neu! to inspire the conception of the three LPs constructed between 1977 and 1979: Low, “Heroes” and Lodger, known by most as the singer’s Berlin Trilogy.

The second of two inessential double live albums David Bowie released in the '70s, 1978's Stage is a different beast than its 1974 predecessor, David Live.
