"E così, ho scritto un libro. Avevo accarezzato l'idea per anni e mi erano state offerte tante opportunità piuttosto discutibili (“È un gioco da ragazzi! Fai solo 4 ore di interviste, trovi qualcuno che lo scriva, metti la tua faccia in copertina e voilà!”), ma io volevo scrivere queste storie come ho sempre fatto: di mio pugno. La gioia e l'euforia che ho provato scrivendo questo libro è molto simile a quella che sento quando riascolto una canzone che ho registrato e che non vedo l'ora di condividere con il mondo, o quando leggo un mio vecchissimo appunto su un taccuino macchiato, o ancora quando sento la mia voce che rimbalza tra i poster dei Kiss nella mia camera da bambino. Questo non significa che lascerò la musica, ma è un'occasione preziosa per raccontare cosa vuol dire essere un bambino di Springfield, Virginia, che vede tutti i suoi sogni realizzarsi attraverso la musica..

The music on this album is very communicative, melodic, easy-to-listen. Songs comprise original comnpositions but also improvisations on medieval song, Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit or Komeda's Svantetic. The music is very coherent, rewarding and delivered with best possible quality. And in Poland it sold like hell reaching in a span of weeks double platinium status. Excellent proposal for all who like beautiful music that has true jazz heart, free and improvising, but still is closer to popular tastes rather than avant-garde. (Source: kochamjazz.blogspot.com)
