On August 27, 1972, fresh off their now-legendary European tour, the Grateful Dead traveled to Veneta, Oregon and reunited with the Merry Pranksters to throw a benefit concert for the Kesey family s Springfield Creamery. The show, which was recorded and filmed but never released, has since become the most-requested live show in Grateful Dead history.
The concert which is considered to be the Merry Pranksters last "Acid Test" offers a snapshot of the band at the peak of its playing prowess and features the classic lineup of: Jerry Garcia, Donna Jean Godchaux, Keith Godchaux, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir…

Mariah Carey certainly knows how to construct an album. Positioning herself directly between urban R&B with tracks like "Fantasy," and adult contemporary with songs like "One Sweet Day," a duet with Boyz II Men, Carey appeals to both audiences equally because of the sheer amount of craft and hard work she puts into her albums. Daydream is her best record to date, featuring a consistently strong selection of songs and a remarkably impassioned performance by Carey. A few of the songs are second-rate – particularly the cover of Journey's "Open Arms" – but Daydream demonstrates that Carey continues to perfect her craft and that she has earned her status as an R&B/pop diva.

Pacific Daydream is the upcoming eleventh studio album by American rock band Weezer, set to be released on October 27, 2017. The album is their second release by Crush Management and will be distributed by Atlantic Records. The lead single, "Feels Like Summer", was released on March 16, 2017.

Back Porch Syndicate Records recording artist Jefferson Grizzard reaches a higher plateau with a new batch of songs, with his January 15, 2016, CD release Daydream of Hope. Grizzard has been on the outskirts of the music scene and now coming into his own by tackling themes of love, loss, social and environmental issues. This is the follow-up to his critically acclaimed CD, Learning To Lie on which Willie Nile co-wrote “When Levon Sings,” paying tribute to legendary drummer Levon Helm of The Band.
