Dee Dee Ramone

This was the first non-rap CD, Dee Dee released after leaving the Ramones. Dee Dee formed I.C.L.C. (Inter-Celestial Light Commune) with John Carco, a New York City bassist who he met while attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in New York. After creating the group, they moved to Amsterdam and recorded "I Hate Freaks Like You", an album made up of work that Dee Dee originally wrote for an upcoming Ramones album.

This disc contains Dee Dee's final studio sessions, as well as artwork by Dee Dee and Youth Gone Mad frontman, Paul "ENA" Kostabi. A solid, raw and diverse punk album that flows smoothly in and out of styles.

Zonked, by Dee Dee Ramone, has all the elements of a Ramones album. For a Ramones album to be labeled a classic, the album always includes at least one anthem, one song that stands out and typifies the Ramones style and attitude. The song on Zonked that comes closest to reaching these lofty standards is "I Am Seeing UFOs", which includes Joey Ramone on vocals. That song has the signature sound that the rest of the tracks on the album seem to be aspiring to. Throughout the album, each track has that distinct lyrical style that made the Ramones a revolution in music: simple, plain statements that capture the imagery of adolescents without flaw.

After splitting from the Ramones in 1989, co-founding member Dee Dee Ramone tried his hand at a variety of projects – a recording career as a rapper, penning books, painting – but it was his work with the Ramones that he will always be best remembered for. Eventually, Dee Dee began playing Ramones covers and originals once more (as a solo act), resulting in such releases as 2000's Greatest & Latest…

The Riccobellis are Ramonescore Punk Rock band from Brescia, Italy. They are active since 2009, and have released (includes splits) three 7" EP & one full-lenght album. In May 2015 will comes their second album on Monster Zero Records. Do not miss it.

Christopher Joseph Ward, aka CJ Ramone, who replaced original bassist Dee Dee Ramone in the Ramones in 1989 and played with the seminal Punk Rock band until 1996, returns. After works with Los Gusanos and Bad Chopper, he had entering studio in late May/early June 2012 and done the first record under his own name. The results that named Reconquista is more like a tribute to the Ramones, and enlists some excellent players to assist with the album. The Ramones was, undoubtedly, one of the most influential bands in Rock history. Taking the most basic and primitive elements from the rock of the 50's and pop of the 60's with a remarkable quote of street attitude, the Ramones have created, almost by chance, the fundamental stone of the sound which later resulted in punk and its consequent sounds.
