"Still Waters Run Deep" is a 1970 album by the American vocal group The Four Tops released in March 1970 on the Motown label. Produced by longtime Norman Whitfield associate Frank Wilson, the album returned (the) Four Tops to the Top 40 on the Billboard album chart where it remained for 42 weeks peaking at #21. The album yielded the popular Top 30 hits, "Still Water (Love)" (#11), which was co-written by Smokey Robinson and their cover of "It's All in the Game" (#24), which featured rare co-leads by Four Tops members Abdul "Duke" Fakir, Renaldo "Obie" Benson and Lawrence Payton singing alongside prominent lead Levi Stubbs. The album also served as inspiration behind singer Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On", the hit title track, which was written by Benson.

Led by guitarist-singer Vincent Fis, Now produced powerful and dynamic Progressive rock, and was one of the best bands of the international scene in the early Nineties. A four piece group (one girl) heavily played in the style of Yes in the older days; colorful, intricate, melodic sound in a neo-prog sort of way.
"Deep" was released in 1992 and it was their third (and last) studio record. The album has only 5 pieces, 4 composed by the band and one cover version of famous Led Zeppelin - "Kashmir". The highlight of the album is "Wheels" of time the two parts who opens the albums and aswell ends, both parts are very good, specially the guitar parts with intricate parts and solid melody lines.

Released in Europe on Castle Communications and distributed in the U.S. on Domino Entertainment, a label founded by producer Rob Fraboni, the album's tracks were all shuffled into a different order except for "A Little Bit of Love," "It Don't Come Easy," and "Use That Power." An oddity, but you could put the CD in your player on the shuffle setting and it would remain one of journeyman Alvin Lee's finest statements. The stellar track here is "Real Life Blues," which hit in spots around the states, notably in Texas and in Massachusetts. It was a Top 30 hit on the Billboard charts in Boston when the regional papers published such tracking.

The Way We Walk, Volume One: The Shorts is the fourth live album by British band Genesis. Eight songs were recorded live on the 1992 We Can't Dance tour, with the remaining three recorded on the 1986–87 Invisible Touch tour. While the album centres on Genesis' shorter and commercial songs, a companion piece, The Way We Walk, Volume Two: The Longs focuses on their lengthier material. The shared title of the two releases refers to the phrase "the way I walk," which appears in the lyrics to two different songs, "I Can't Dance" on Volume One, and "I Know What I Like" on Volume Two.

Tyranny and Mutation was the second album by the American hard rock band Blue Öyster Cult, released on February 11, 1973. The album was recorded from songs written while touring in support of their eponymous debut album. Blue Öyster Cult continued to develop their style of "intelligent heavy metal" on this record. Tyranny and Mutation has been widely praised, and often considered as being one of the band's best albums. The Rolling Stone Album Guide has described the album as "one molten hook after another" and praised the four-song "opening suite" comprising the first side of the album.

Friday On My Mind is the first North American album from The Easybeats. The album was released as Good Friday in Europe, in the same month. This version omitted "Hound Dog" and replaced it with "Women" (re-titled "Make You Feel Alright (Women)") from the Australian It's 2 Easy album. A 1992 Repertoire CD release, under the same title and cover art as the North American album, has the track listing of the European Good Friday album.

This is a rather incredible collection: ten CDs enclosed in a tight black box that includes every one of the recordings Verve owns of Billie Holiday, not only the many studio recordings of 1952-57 (which feature Lady Day joined by such jazz all-stars as trumpeters Charlie Shavers and Harry "Sweets" Edison, altoist Benny Carter, and the tenors of Flip Phillips, Paul Quinichette and Ben Webster). Also included are prime performances at Jazz at the Philharmonic concerts in 1945-1947, an enjoyable European gig from 1954, her "comeback" Carnegie Hall concert of 1956, Holiday's rather sad final studio album from 1959, and even lengthy tapes from two informal rehearsals. It's a perfect purchase for the true Billie Holiday fanatic.
