Construction Time Again is the third studio album by the British electronic group Depeche Mode, released in 1983 and supported by Construction Time Again Tour. This was the first Depeche Mode album with Alan Wilder, who composed the songs "Two Minute Warning" and "The Landscape Is Changing" (as well as the B-side "Fools"). The title comes from the second line of the first verse of "Pipeline".
Ultra is Depeche Mode's ninth full-length album, which was released by Mute Records on 14 April 1997. The album was the band's first since the departure of Alan Wilder, who had left the band in 1995 having become disillusioned with life in Depeche Mode. Wilder's leaving and lead singer Dave Gahan's drug problems, which culminated in a near-fatal overdose, had caused many people to speculate that the band was finished.
Ultra debuted at #1 in the UK Albums Chart and at #5 in the Billboard 200 with sales of 90,000 copies, and producing several hit singles. As of April 2006, Ultra has sold more than 584,000 units in the US.
Exciter is Depeche Mode's tenth studio album, which was released on 14 May 2001 in the UK and May 15 in the US. It uses more digital music technology compared to their other albums. It was produced by Mark Bell of Björk and LFO fame. The album also launched the Exciter Tour, which was one of the band's most successful tours.
Exciter debuted at #9 in the UK Albums Chart and debuted at #8 in the Billboard 200 with sales of 115,000 copies in its first week of release. It is the only Depeche Mode album to debut higher in the US than in the UK. As of April 2006, Exciter has sold more than 426,000 units in the United Statesand was certified Gold by the RIAA. The album was also certified Gold in Canada (50,000 units) in 2001.[4] The remastered album was released on "deluxe" vinyl 30 March 2007 in Germany and 1 October 2007 internationally.
