Annie Moscow catches the world in her eyes as she looks through the window of Passing Trains, her recent release. Using a Folk music backdrop of guitar and piano, Annie tells her tales on the album, snapping pictures of the humanity traveling by with snippet of phrases that flesh out her characters. An NYC artist is drawn by her words as Annie Moscow sets the stage of “He Paints Cats’ in Washington Square Park, giving the homeless painter a life that could be envied in its freedom by her description of his survival techniques. Passing Trains hears the rattle of rails amid rolling piano and haunting melodies in the title track as it watches its characters as moving targets while “Back Again” smiles at memories and gets in line with a worldwide community seeking “What Everybody Else Wants”.

In the taxonomy of popular music, Country Rock was now a thing, a categoryby 1970. There were Country Rock browser bins in some stores, and trade magazines like 'Billboard'routinely classified records as country-rock or country/rock, expecting readers to know what they meant.

Steven Price has been tapped to compose the music for the upcoming Netflix nature documentary series Our Planet. The show is produced by Silverback Films, led by Alastair Fothergill (Deep Blue, Earth) & Keith Scholey (Bears, African Cats), and explores remote wilderness areas across the globe. The 8-parter will present never-before-filmed settings, ranging from the ice caps and deep ocean to deserts and remote forests, featuring some of the world’s rarest animals and most precious natural habitats. Price has previously scored Silverback’s BBC docu-series The Hunt (produced by Fothergrill), as well as the upcoming Fothergrill- & Scholey-directed feature Disneynature: Blue (previously entitled Dolphins). Our Planet is set to premiere in 2019 on Netflix. His richly thematic score across the eight films of Our Planet were recorded by the Philharmonia Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London.
