C’est un ovni musical que présentent le contre-ténor Andreas Scholl et le guitariste Edin Karamazov. Il fallait sans doute le talent de ces deux immenses musiciens pour constituer cet étonnant opus consacré à deux univers aussi opposés que ceux de Johann Sebastian Bach et de Leo Brouwer sans tomber dans la proposition criarde et indigeste.
