Brand new album of the indestructible Sleaze rockers for their 35th birthday! Still under the name The Queerboys, they started their career in the Marquee Club and quickly built up a fan group in London and the surrounding area with their hard rock strongly influenced by rhythm'n'blues. In 1987 they renamed themselves The Quireboys and signed their acclaimed debut 'A Bit Of What You Fancy' (GB # 2) to EMI. On their tours around the globe, they recorded their first live album and recorded with producer Bob Rock 'Bitter Sweet & Twisted', but were somewhat lost in the grunge wave that followed. They played the 'Use Your Illusion' tour of Guns N' Roses as well as Support for the Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi. Now the band around guitarist Guy Griffin is already celebrating their 35th anniversary, reason enough to shake another 12 casual Rock'n'Roll pearls out of their sleeves. Blues-infected, with corners and edges, and carried by singer Spikes Whiskey-soaked always concise voice. The album was recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios, where Queens' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' was also recorded.
