Lightning Strikes Again is the tenth studio album by the American heavy metal band Dokken. It was originally scheduled for release on October 24, 2007, in Japan and on October 29 worldwide, but was postponed until 2008. The album was eventually released on May 13 in the US. The album entered the Billboard Top 200 at No. 133, the band's best chart performance since 2004. It received some of the best reviews since the band's classic era in the 1980s. The album title comes from a track from their 1985 album Under Lock and Key. The album is also the last to feature bassist Barry Sparks.

Éternel second couteau de la scène hard rock/heavy metal américaine, Dokken se signale surtout en creux par un manque d'originalité absolue. Formé en 1976 à Los Angeles en tant qu'Airborn, le groupe devient Dokken du nom de son chanteur Don Dokken en 1978. Il connaît le succès dès Tooth and Nail en 1984, s'ensuit une courte période faste avec en points d'orgue les albums Under Lock and Key (1985) et Back for the Attack (1987). L'album le plus apprécié de Dokken reste largement le live Beast from the East (1988), Dokken compensant sur scène son manque de singularité par une énergie renversante. Séparé temporairement de 1989 à 1993, Dokken connaît une terne seconde partie de carrière, à peine relevée sur le tard par Lightning Strikes Again en 2007 et Broken Bones en 2012.

"Tooth and Nail" is the second studio album by American heavy metal band Dokken, released on September 14, 1984 through Elektra Records. After the unsuccessful release of the band's debut album in the US, the record label was reluctant to give credit to Dokken for a follow-up. Dokken's management struggled to convince the label's executives to give the band another chance and this fight for recognition is reflected in the album's title. This album was the group's first with bassist Jeff Pilson following Juan Croucier's departure to join Ratt.

Time Life was founded in 1961 as the book division of Time Inc.. It took its name from Time Inc.'s cornerstone magazines, Time and Life, but remained independent of both. During 1966, Time Life combined its book offerings with music collections (two to five records) and packaged them as a sturdy box set. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the selection of books, music and videos grew and was diversified into more genres. When record labels stopped producing vinyl albums in 1990, Time Life switched to CD only. In the mid-1990s, Time Life acquired Heartland Music, with the Heartland Music label now appearing as a brand. This company was subsequently sold off and is no longer attached to Time Life.
