Greatest Hits is the first compilation album by Australian singer Jason Donovan. The collection was released in 1991. The album featured all his UK hit singles up to this point apart from his No.1 single "Any Dream Will Do", which featured on the cast recording of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat (released on the Polydor label). 10 of the 13 tracks had featured on Donovan's first two albums, with new singles "R.S.V.P." and "Happy Together" included along with a cover of the Elvis Presley hit "A Fool Such as I". This album marked the end of Donovan's work with Stock Aitken Waterman, the producers who had masterminded his music career up to this point. The album reached No.9 on the UK Charts and a video compilation was released to coincide with the album. The cover photo was taken during sessions for the "When You Come Back to Me" single and was therefore two years old at the time of release.

The album starts off on a funky note with “Black Woman,” which definitely draws from 1970s era soul and funk, with the prominent wah-wah electric guitar. This is also the case in Dawn’s first single, “Daddy,” whose funk vibe is paired with percussion that sounds Latin in many of its rhythms. The electric guitar weaves in and out, bringing with it a burst of passion that goes hand and hand with Donovan’s passionate lyrics. Her vocals are full of emotion and soul, sounding both rebellious and mysterious as she sings “Ain’t no use tryin’ to set me free, I can see what you’re hiding from me.”

This is the first release featuring Aoife with a string quartet. Co-produced by Jeremy Kittel and Aoife, the album was recorded in Brooklyn on the last days of October 2019. The title of the project comes from the Peter Sears poem, “Valentine," which is the final movement of the 3 song suite along with Sears other poems “Night Fishing” and “The Darkness”. Peter Sears (1937-2017), was named the seventh poet laureate of the state of Oregon in 2014. The suite was penned in 2015 by O’Donovan along with Jeremy Kittel and Teddy Abrams, the conductor of the Louisville Symphony Orchestra and premiered at the Britt Festival in Jacksonville, OR.

In March 1969 (too soon to include "Atlantis"), Epic and Pye released Donovan's Greatest Hits, which included four songs previously only available as singles – "Epistle To Dippy", "There is a Mountain", "Jennifer Juniper" and "Laléna", as well as re-recorded versions of "Colours" and "Catch The Wind" and specially-mixed stereo versions of "Sunshine Superman" and "Season of the Witch". It became the most successful album of his career; it reached #4 in the US, became a million-selling gold record, and stayed on the Billboard album chart for more than a year.

Vic Lewis And His Orchestra - Donovan My Way recorded 1969. Produced by John Cameron. This is an excellent instrumental album of Donovan songs by one time NEMS Manager Vic Lewis. Arranged and produced by longtime Donovan arranger John Cameron it features some of his regular musicians: Tony Carr (percussion) and Harold McNair (flute) not to mention Alan Parker on guitar (is this the same guy who actually played on Hurdy Gurdy Man). It has a rather lounge like style.
