L'episodio Senza pietà è dunque ancora una volta scritto ed illustrato da Swolfs e ci mostra un Durango ormai accasato a Nortonville deciso a riprendere le pistole ed il suo ruolo di riparatore di torti per farla pagare allo sciacallo di turno, Louie Holedigger, reo di una serie di sanguinarie violenze nella cittadina in cui il protagonista si era ritirato mettendo da parte le sue intenzioni bellicose.

Con l'albo Jessie, il nono della serie, si conclude la collana dedicata al fumetto western Durango di Yves Swolfs sulle pagine de Gli Albi del West, che dalla settimana successiva possono addentrarsi nei meandri del western visionario Bouncer di Jodorowsky e Boucq. Questo volume ospita un unico episodio, il diciassettesimo e per ora ultimo della serie, una storia alquanto recente essendo stata pubblicata nel 2016. La collana si chiude quindi in grande stile dato che Jessie è un episodio ancora inedito in Italia che vede l'esordio nel nostro paese proprio con quest'albo. Ai disegni della storia, sceneggiata come sempre da Swolfs, troviamo l'artista italiano Iko (al secolo Giuseppe Ricciardi).

On this excellent set, the Brazilian acoustic guitarist/singer Toninho Horta plays unaccompanied solos. Horta wrote or co-composed every song, and his program is full of rich themes, haunting understated vocalizing (often wordless), and melodic guitar. The atmospheric performances, which are as much folk as jazz, work both as background music and for close listening. Overall, this is one of Toninho Horta's better efforts.

Outlaw George Montgomery, who wants to marry Ann Robinson and adopt orphaned Bobby Clark, vows to go straight. Trouble is, Montgomery's old gang would prefer that he remain on the wrong side of the law. To press the issue, the gang kidnaps little Bobby, refusing to release the kid until Montgomery agrees to help them rob a bank. Our hero goes along with the villains but only until the opportunity arises to turn the tables. This agreeable formula western was later released as Duel in Durango.

Ormai sappiamo come la giovane si sia sbarazzata del marito e sia alla ricerca di un classico tesoro, ovvero l'eredità lasciatale dal padre…
