Sinopsis en la editorial: Una fábrica que espera, como tantas otras, el cierre final, la externalización, la deslocalización. Y en medio de todo ello: esos obreros que siguen rompiéndose el espinazo por mantener encendidas las calderas y de los que ya nadie habla. Jean-Pierre Levaray narra en esta obra algo que conoce demasiado bien: el trabajo en la fábrica, «esta vida perdida», «esta vida, ya de por sí corta, y que el curro te araña despacio»… Y Efix la plasma con su dibujo en blanco y negro, duro, expresivo; perfecta combinación para describir el universo cerrado y agobiante que sufren miles de personas cada día.

For who hasn't heard of Andrea Parodi before, he was the lead singer of a folk-pop group (Tazenda) that had a brief moment of success in Italy in the early 90s. His unique voice and the folk themes sung in Sardinian make him more belonging to world music. The quality of the recording, taking into account that it's a live album, is excellent and remarkable.

Two of the brightest singing talents to have emerged from Italy in recent years, Giulia Semenzato and Raffaele Pe, join forces for Sospiri d’amore, a dazzling celebration of operatic arias and duets by that Baroque master of amorous emotions, Francesco Cavalli. Soprano and countertenor are supported by a modern master of Italian Baroque style in Claudio Cavina, who directs La Venexiana (Cavina has also led the Glossa recording of Cavalli’s 1656 opera Artemisia).
