Ignoto Deo is a 2001 compilation CD exploring the worlds of darkwave, electro and neofolk music. Some of the artists on this include Glenn Danzig, Laurie Anderson and Skinny Puppy. This was released in Poland by the MM label.

The Musicalisches Lob Gottes in der Gemeine des Herrn may be regarded as the impressive high point of Telemann’s printed annual cycles. The present recording of three cantatas from this annual cycle tends more to chamber musical design. It interprets the compositions as intimate sacred music for which an ensemble with eight members completely suffices in performance respects – something corresponding to the reality in performance practice in most German church music ensembles in the eighteenth century. In view of the intimate interpretation of these cantatas, the intermezzi interspersed in them from the Twelve Fantasies for Viola da Gamba Solo have the effect of a meditative deepening of the religious subject matter. The four fantasies selected are elaborated with fine art and are just as richly arrayed musically as are the church compositions.

The award-winning early music ensemble Capella de la Torre is releasing its new recording of musical treasures from the early Baroque period in collaboration with the Bavarian Radio Choir - one of Germany's top choirs - and conductor Florian Helgath.Heinrich Schütz's (1585-1672) three-part work "Musikalische Exequien" (1635) takes centre stage.

Tobias Michael succeeded Johann Hermann Schein as the Music Director at the St. Thomas School in Leipzig in 1631, and Sebastian Knüpfer was Michael’s successor in this post in 1657. Many different kinds of parallel developments occurred in the life stories of Schein and his direct successor Michael; the former exercised a model function in the latter’s music, and there were documented contacts involving collegial exchange. Michael’s extant oeuvre includes two volumes of motets and sacred concertos entitled Musicalische Seelenlust (1634-37), from which a selection is heard on this CD.

In November 2019, an opera sensation was to be experienced at the Leverkusen Erholungshaus: 232 years after its creation, a comic opera was premiered with "Scherz, List und Rache" (Joke, Cunning and Revenge), for which no one less than Johann Wolfgang von Goethe had written the libretto. The music for it came from Goethe's childhood friend Philipp Christoph Kayser (1755-1823). Inspired by the Italian buffo opera, Goethe and Kayser wanted to create a new kind of German opera with "Scherz, List und Rache". The result was a turbulent three-person play about a young married couple who were cheated out of their inheritance by an old money-hungry doctor.In 2019 it was conductor Werner Ehrhardt and his ensemble l'arte del mondo who performed this opera rarity for the first time in its original instrumentation for large orchestra. Annika Boos, Cornel Frey and Florian Götz took over the vocal parts peppered with virtuoso passages. This is the world premiere recording of the singspiel in co-production with WDR and Bayer Arts & Culture
