This 60th Anniversary 60-CD Deluxe Edition celebrates RCA Victor's signing of Elvis Presley-The King of rock 'n' roll. Features all of the albums Elvis recorded and RCA released in his lifetime: studio, soundtrack, and live. It also includes compilations released that featured unreleased songs or songs new to the LP format.

Elvis Presley may be the single most important figure in American 20th century popular music. Not necessarily the best, and certainly not the most consistent. But no one could argue with the fact that he was the musician most responsible for popularizing rock & roll on an international level. Viewed in cold sales figures, his impact was phenomenal. Dozens upon dozens of international smashes from the mid-'50s to the mid-'70s, as well as the steady sales of his catalog and reissues since his death in 1977, may make him the single highest-selling performer in history. This collection includes 21 albums, originally released between 1970 to 1977.

Elvis Is Back! is the fourth studio album by American singer Elvis Presley, released on April 8, 1960 by RCA Victor. It was Presley's first album of new material since 1958's King Creole soundtrack, as well as his first to be recorded and released in stereophonic sound. The album marked Presley's return to music after his discharge from the U.S. Army. The material on the album has some influences from the rock and roll of Presley's early work, but it also offers a mix of sophisticated pop, blues, R&B and the "Nashville sound" production values associated with Chet Atkins, who co-produced the recording sessions with Steve Sholes. With public anticipation high, RCA rushed Elvis Is Back! and the standalone single "Stuck on You" into release mere days after Presley finished recording. The LP topped the UK Albums Chart and reached number two in Billboard's Top LP's. Initially, the release received mixed reviews, but over subsequent years its critical reception became progressively more positive, with critics generally praising its stylistic variety, production quality and mature sound. Elvis is Back! was certified Gold on July 15, 1999.

This 2 CD Legacy Edition of "Elvis: That's The Way It Is" features an expanded version of the original RCA album. Added is four single sides from the period and a selection of "fly-on-the-wall" outtakes from the June Nashville sessions that produced the majority of tracks for the LP. Disc 2 features a previously unreleased concert from Elvis' 1970 "Summer Season" recorded on August 12. The 24-page booklet features an insightful essay, photos and memorabilia. This new 2-CD Legacy Edition of the album Elvis: That's The Way It Is that accompanied the film directed by Denis Sanders celebrates this memorable era in the career of Elvis Presley with an expanded version of the original Gold-certified RCA release.

We collected 177 original versions of songs, which Elvis interpreted and compared them to the versions from Elvis. Both, popular songs and rarities are featured in this box. You are going to be surprised. Most of the Elvis fans do not even know that Elvis covered so many songs, he owned a huge record collection with records from various genres. Some people even think that "Blue Suede Shoes" is an Elvis song. You can also find the chart position of the American single charts from both, the original song and Elvis´ interpretation. To be on the safe side, we marked some songs with "probably" or "possibly", when the similarity is not too obvious. In some cases, it is more or less obvious that Elvis used a certain song as a draft, but we never talked to Elvis to confirm this.
