The first portion of this film is a documentary on the adults-only entertainment industry prevelent in London's Soho District. The second details the trials and tribulations of a struggling photographer, his unsatisfied wife, and their friend Emmanuelle, as they try to make it big in Soho. They decide their ticket to success will come by blackmailing a wealthy adult film tycoon.
Hot and Horny Emmanuelle continues her hands on erotic lessons revealing the advantages of different partners and the delight in pursuing ones wildest desires.
Emmanuelle, a hedonistic young woman, finds herself teaching the ways of sexuality to a crew of aliens who land on Earth.
So Emmanuelle is a photographer hanging out in Rio. She takes pictures, she gets laid, you know the drill. In between terrible sex scenes, we get a lot of shots of Rio de Janeiro. "City of God" strived for the stark realism of life in the Rio slums but I think this film really captured the bleak despair of living in Rio while making an impotent sex film. At any rate, the Rio scenes were more interesting than the sex. Where is Krista Allen when I need her? This movie almost blasted me into a coma. Beam up to Krista's love ship and leave Rio in the dust.
At an institute in Manila, researchers and eco-tourists trade stories about the Mara tribe, who live on a remote island and have an annual festival of rebirth in which some of the tribe forget who they are and begin again. Laure is the daughter of the institute's director; she's a free spirit who has captured the fancy of Nicola, a European photographer. After a courtship in which the voyeuristic Nick indulges Laure's exhibitionism and sexual freedom, they set off for Mara land with Gualtier, an anthropologist, and his philosophical lover, Myrte. As they approach the Mara on the night of rebirth, who of the group will actually join the tribe to begin life anew?
