Eric Elam

The album "Sound-Elements" by New York bassist Elam Friedlander features Abraham Burton on tenor saxophone, Luis Perdomo on piano and Eric McPherson on drums. The project is a continuous piece of music that flows seamlessly between open improvisation and structure, giving each musician in the band a place to express the specific sound world of each spiritual element.

Nick Lavery is an active-duty Green Beret within the United States Army Special Forces. Although injuries sustained in combat resulted in the above-the-knee amputation of his leg—Nick not only remained in the Army, he returned to his Special Forces detachment and continues conducting combat operations to this day.
