Eric Clapton is een van artiesten die aan de wieg van het fenomeen gitaarhelden van de popmuziek stond. Hij valt in de jaren zestig op met zijn virtuoze gitaarspel als lid van The Yardbirds, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers en Cream. In 1970 slaat de Brit het solopad in en debuteert in hetzelfde jaar met het album Eric Clapton. Als soloartiest gaat hij hits scoren als "Layla" en "Change the World". Maar meer dan een hitmaker is Clapton een artiest die staat voor een hoogwaardige oeuvre, waarbij hij ondanks diverse muzikale uitstapjes toch altijd weer terugkeert naar zijn eerste liefde: de blues. Ook zijn album The Lady in the Balcony: Lockdown Sessions uit 2021 staat weer in teken van dit genre. Daarnaast is Clapton met zijn unieke gitaarspel ook een voorbeeld voor vele nieuwe generaties muzikanten.

Eric Serra is an award-winning French film music composer best known for his work with director Luc Besson on international blockbusters such as The Fifth Element (1997). Born on September 9, 1959, in Saint-Mandé, Île-de-France, he began his musical career during the mid- to late '70s as a guitarist and bassist in collaboration with a range of French pop/rock acts. During the early '80s he was the bassist of French singer/songwriter Jacques Higelin, one of the country's biggest pop/rock stars of the era. Around this same time, he began collaborating with film director Luc Besson, starting with the score of the short film L'Avant Dernier (1981).

Eric Gale was a top studio guitar man, and a first call session player on many dates from the '50's through the '90's. His reliable accompaniment can be appreciated on scores of records as a sideman, and through his own efforts as leader.

Eric Neveux has composed original music for 60 feature films, as well as a variety of scores for TV movies and series. Recent score highlights include two installments of director Rachid Bouchareb’s American Trilogy; Just Like a Woman (starring Sienna Miller and Golshifteh Farahani), and Two Men in Town(2014), with Forest Whitaker and Harvey Keitel; and later, Bouchareb’s film Road to Istanbul in 2016 (the last two being official selections of the Berlin Film Festival). Eric’s passion for independent film is further illustrated by his work on titles such as La Vie Domestique by Isabelle Czajka, Standing Tall (La Tête Haute) by Emmanuelle Bercot, the Cannes Film Festival’s opening film in 2015, The Attack (2013), and The Insult (2017), by Ziad Doueiri which was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards.

Eric Cantona a donné une série de concerts à l'automne 2023 en France, au Royaume-Uni, en Irlande et en Suisse. Tout au long de ces dates, il a enregistré des chansons, désormais rassemblées dans un album live qui sortira le 29 mars 2024. Intitulé « Cantona chante Eric – First Live Ever », cet album contiendra 17 chansons enregistrées dans différents villes de la tournée, dont la magnifique ballade « The Friends We Lost », « Je vous » et « I'll make my own paradis », mais aussi « I Love You So Much », une chanson qu'Eric Cantona a écrite spécialement pour Manchester Supporters unis.

This summer sees the Anniversary Deluxe Edition of Eric Clapton’s eponymous first solo album, originally released in August 1970. It is being issued on 4CD and 1LP (standard black) formats and will also be released digitally. The front cover artwork for the LP differs from the 4CD artwork illustrated above. The album will be launched on 9th June with the release of two tracks: After Midnight (Delaney Bramlett Mix) & Blues Power (Eric Clapton Mix) The album represents one of rock history’s most successful reinventions. After emerging as one of the seminal guitar heroes of the ’60s, the English superstar decisively re-established his musical priorities with Eric Clapton. It marked Clapton’s transition from flamboyant instrumental icon to well-rounded recording artist, downplaying sonic pyrotechnics in favour of a song-focused ensemble approach that would lay the groundwork for his massively successful solo career. For the occasion, he surrounded himself with a new cast of American musicians, tapping into a rootsy musical foundation that provided an inspired framework for his talents. This Anniversary Deluxe Edition presents Eric Clapton – Eric Clapton in three separate mixes: The Eric Clapton Mix, The Delaney Bramlett Mix and The Tom Dowd Mix (The UK Version). The Eric Clapton mix is being released in full for the first time. This anniversary collection also includes some singles, alternate versions and session outtakes.

Eric Bibb is back. The US blues musician and singer-songwriter is releasing his new album "Dear America" in 2021, the follow-up to his 2018 double album "Global Griot." The name suggests it: It's a musical love letter to his fractured homeland.
