R-Evolution brings together a wealth of previously unreleased footage of The Doors. Combining early TV appearances with their own music films it illustrates how The Doors evolved from the constraints of late sixties television to a point where they had the creative input and power to shape how they were portrayed on screen…

Swiss vocal acrobat Andreas Schaerer and Finnish guitarist Kalle Kalima have some things in common. As artists, each is essentially in a category completely of his own. Both are musicians who can always conjure something special from their chosen instruments.

Evolution is a gradual process in which something changes into a different and usually more complex form. Nowhere is that more evident than on Stacye Branché’s third disc, “The Evolution to Living in Truth.”

Australian outfit TAMAM SHUD was formed back in 1967. The band had originally started out as The Four Strangers in 1964, but soon changed their moniker to The Sunsets. A change in stylistic expression and a subsequent line-up alteration called for a third alteration in band name, and from 1967 Dannie Davidson (drums), Zac Zytnic (guitar), Lindsay Bjerre (vocals, guitars) and Peter Barron (bass) took the name Tamam Shud when they started exploring the recently popular psychedelic progressive rock genre…

Alien Sex Fiend are an English gothic rock band, formed in London, England in 1982. Alien Sex Fiend were formed by Nik Wade (Nik Fiend), Christine Wade (Mrs. Fiend), David James (Yaxi Highrizer) and Johnny Freshwater (Johnny Ha-Ha) in late 1982 at the Batcave club in London (where Nik worked). The band became known in the gothic scene for its dark, electronic industrial-leaning sound, heavy samples, loops, dub remixes and manic vocals. Wade had previously been a member of the Alice Cooper-influenced bands the Earwigs and Mr. & Mrs. Demeanour, and later the punk band Demon Preacher (later known as the Demons).
