Faust Concerts

Klaus Lage is a German musician whose mixture of guitar-based pop/rock and singer/songwriter compositions in the Liedermacher tradition became immensely popular in the 1980s. His biggest hit single, 1984's "1000 und 1 Nacht (Zoom!)" (1000 and 1 Nights), is a staple of retro compilations and parties, but Lage has had more hits afterward, writing and performing songs for feature films and musicals, and even creating the official German versions of Randy Newman's Toy Story songs.

André Cluytens, though born in Belgium, achieved fame as one of the supreme French conductors of his era, renowned for his refinement and the sheer joy of his music-making. In the mid-20th century he built a substantial, varied and distinguished discography and became the first conductor to record the complete Beethoven symphonies with the Berliner Philharmoniker. This 64-disc set, uniting all his recordings of orchestral, concerto and choral repertoire, embraces the mainstream and the esoteric, and includes numerous items making their debut on CD or retrieved from the archives and released for the very first time.

The Orchestre de Paris is a French orchestra based in Paris. The orchestra currently performs most of its concerts at the Philharmonie de Paris.

Hector Berlioz (1803-1869) was a controversial French composer, dramatically splitting the opinions of critics. His most famous work is Symphonie Fantastique. Berlioz was one of the most influential of all 19th-century conductors.
