Feast Consequences

Under its music director Pascal Rophé, l’Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire (ONPL) here performs two great orchestral spectaculars of French music – scintillating and imaginative scores composed only 15 years apart. A perennial favorite, Paul Dukas’ symphonic poem The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (1897) became a ‘hit’ with the general public after being included in the soundtrack of the Disney animation film Fantasia in 1940.

La-La Land Records, 20th Century Fox and Fox Music present the CD release of the original motion picture score to the feature film VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN, starring Daniel Radcliffe, James McAvoy, Jessica Brown Findlay, Andrew Scott and Freddie Fox. The film is directed by Paul McGuigan from a screen story and screenplay by Max Landis. The producer is John Davis. The film opens in theaters everywhere November 25.

Georg Philipp Telemann never missed the opportunity to delight those around him with countless compositions treating the subject of love and its consequences.
