The four American composers on this album have all won recognition for their diverse approaches to contemporary art song. Both Emmy-nominated Craig Brandwein, in his beautiful Three Rilke Songs and Jonathan Santore in Two Letters of Sulpicia use computer generated electronics to enhance the vocal line, while Edie Hill’s setting of poems by Amy Lowell exemplifies why her music has been described as "full of mystery" (Stereophile). The common thread running throughout Jessica Rudman’s works is expressivity, and These Distances Between Us charts a cycle that recognizes the precarious nature of personal connections.

Swedish House Mafia have revealed the release date for their debut album, ‘Paradise Again,’ which will land on 15th April via Republic Records.
The EDM trio, composed of DJs Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, have also unleashed the video for their new single, ‘Redlight,’ which features a cameo from Sting. Check it out below.

cult of youth began as a bedroom project in 2006 when founder sean ragon took a broken acoustic guitar, a $20 mackie mixer, and a roland rack synth and tried to recreate the atmosphere of the post-industrial and neo folk records he had been obsessed with since childhood. the project eventually evolved into a fully fledged band and for the better part of a decade released a string of genre-bending albums that made perfect sense to some people and absolutely no sense to others.

Elvis: 30 #1 Hits is a greatest hits collection of songs by American rock and roll singer Elvis Presley. It was released by RCA Records on September 24, 2002. It is the first Elvis Presley album to feature the remix of "A Little Less Conversation" by JXL that was released earlier in the year and reached No. 1 in the UK and Australia.

Alphaville, Germany’s biggest synth-pop export and creator of the legendary 80s anthems “Big in Japan”, “Sounds like a Melody” and “Forever Young”, has decided to go symphonic. The band is doing things on the grand scale and catapulting the band’s 40 years of greatest hits out of the orbit of synthesizers and rhythm machines into the world of the human sound machine, the symphony orchestra. “Eternally Yours” is more, much more, than a mere translation of the songs into the sound spectrum of a great orchestra. What it amounts to, rather, is a symbiosis of Marian Gold’s unique vocal capacities, the original Alphaville sound and the majestic power and rich timbres of the concert-hall-sized German Film Orchestra of Babelsberg.
