Sara Jane Ceccarelli presenta su Parco della Musica Records il suo nuovo lavoro "Milky Way", secondo album della cantante italo-canadese. Un disco da suonare e da far ascoltare, insieme ai suoi storici musicisti, primo fra tutti il fratello chitarrista, e collega da sempre, Paolo Ceccarelli. Il progetto esprime l’indole dell’epoca in cui viviamo, che non allontana l‘idea di contaminazione ma anzi ne vuole esaltare la forza.

Using a wide range of primary sources which include the superb collections of eighteenth-century opera posters and concert programmes in Leipzig and the Indice de' teatrali spettacoli, an almanac of Italian singers and dancers, this study examines the annual schedules, recruitment networks, casting policies and repertoire selections of this important company.

PFM introduced new sounds, such as the synthesizer, to the Italian musical world. They were also among the first to combine symphonic classical and traditional Italian musical influences in a rock music context. Such innovations and their longevity have made them among the most important bands in the international Progressive rock genre

After 5,000 concerts around the world, PFM feel the need and the desire to return to the Great Mother Classical music, where the band and the orchestra play respectful of their diversity. The performance of the songs takes advantage of a reduction of the original score, with inserts of original music specially created by PFM. The arrangements do not follow a fixed pattern. PFM is entrusted to the imaginative power of the original writing of the piece, integrating it with its contemporary vision. The choice of the authors so diverse one to each other (Mozart, Verdi, Saint Saens, Prokofiev, Rossini, Dvorak, etc..) has allowed the band to work on a wide range of expressive possibilities.
