Filled with lavish soundscapes, epic climaxes, dramatic builds, intimate piano moments and inspiring orchestral arrangements, the 12 track debut "The Edge Of The Light" by Floating In Space is a boundless merging of both delicate and energetic sounds. Fans of artists including Lights & Motion, U137, Carly Comando and Inward Oceans will surely enjoy this album, which tends to lean towards the dramatic side of cinematic songwriting. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Arctic Studio in Alicante by Spanish songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist Ruben Caballero.

So Japanese poet Bashō wrote in 1684 about a famous natural spring recorded as “shedding it's clear drops of water with a drip-drop sound”. This act of cleansing and how it is expressed by Bashō offers an absorbing framework for hearing the music of Floating World Pictures. Just as haiku are rooted in close observation of nature and the seasons, a time and a place - a tiny meditation that both seizes the moment and brings about a much wider understanding - so too are the improvised explorations and focused production of Floating World Pictures.

After the release of Folk is the New Black in 2006, Janis decided not to make another record until she felt she had “an album’s worth of impeccable songs”. Although she released several private “for the fans” items, and continued touring, she also set up a whiteboard with a constantly rotating list of songs in process, songs she thought would make the cut, and thoughts about subjects she wanted to cover. One thing that became apparent over the years was her strong relationship with her fans, and the sense that she and they had come full circle – from “Society’s Child” through “Stars” to “The Light at the End of the Line”.

With Floating, Eloy hit their first artistic peak. The German group's brand of hard rock meets prog rock gelled beautifully for this set of five songs. The structural shortcomings of the longest track from the previous album are now things of the past: "The Light From Deep Darkness" is a 15-minute roller coaster.

A comprehensive collection of Peter Broderick’s piano work to date, these recordings were originally captured in Berlin to accompany the 2017 sheet music book Piano Works Vol. 1. The book contains 20 pieces for solo piano and a download code to access new recordings of all 20 pieces.

Light can be added to a scene where none existed before just as if you were adding light at the time of shooting. Realistic lighting and shadow is introduced using digital versions of the entire gobo libraries created by Gamproducts and Rosco.
