The name Hot Tuna invokes as many different moods and reactions as there are Hot Tuna fans — millions of them. To some, Hot Tuna is a reminder of some wild and happy times. To others, that name will forever be linked to their own discovery of the power and depth of American blues and roots music. To newer fans, Hot Tuna is a tight, masterful duo that is on the cutting edge of great music.

The basement of the Wingate Library is a specialized environment, all to itself, and completely furnished. Older card catalogs and bookshelves are found throughout the spacious basement, well lit by the arabeque lamps that are found in many Miskatonic University buildings. Two offices - one for the librarian, the other for his assistant are also available. Both have desks, chairs and additional book cases - but there's more - office clutter, Arkham style. This set comes with four framed pictures, 10 "crumpled papers", six old documents and a new "old books" block for the library shelves. There are even three additional standalone books.

The notion of flamenco music approached in a polite, genteel manner may sound inherently contradictory to some, but Canadian-born guitarist Johannes Linstead accomplishes the task with admirable grace and poise. As with his four previous recordings, Linstead's Mediterranea is short on the fire, sweat, and florid technique found in the work of Jesse Cook and other nouveau flamenco contemporaries. Instead, Linstead leans more on heart, melodicism, and adroit fingering to craft a lively yet dignified sound that, while perhaps tame to some ears, elevates his instrumentals beyond simple easy-listening fare. Linstead (Spanish guitar, bouzouki, keyboards) is an accomplished player (for evidence, consider his energized licks on "Sangre del Toro") whose arrangements create a colorful, accessible sound well-suited to listeners with a taste for what could be termed "smooth flamenco."
